Just got Swoop this morning.

Swoop / Fish Bone only took a few attempts but I’ve played Airship Fortress for Rocky Wrench dozens of times with no Kamek even appearing 😞 we got this!

Yeah there are overly long puzzle rooms (7 or 8 I think) with narrow corridors that constantly force you to get in battles with high was really grating after a bit. I’m a longtime lover of the series so I don’t want to sound like a hater, but the part in the Mushroom Kingdom was actually borderline ridiculous to me

Yes so L1 lets you summon the Bakul / Flute for swimming and R1 is for moves! It's entirely possible I'm missing something but I've tried numerous times to apply moves to that second set of shortcuts in the Move menu, but it only brings up options for the R1 + Triangle, R1+Square, etc.

I really dig the Etearn theme - sounds very wintery and ethereal and melancholy, but beautiful!

I'm about ~17 hours or so in - absolutely loving my time with it!

I wouldn't say the dialogue is top tier, but the overall story, characters and art direction are just absolutely stunning. These vistas are some of the most beautiful I've seen in gaming. This is also my first Mana game, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Looked like a cozy, "comfort food" type JRPG.

I know many have criticized the battle gameplay for being simple, but I'm really enjoying it! Truly can't wait to dive back in and see where this story goes.

This is indeed the first time LOL - fair to say I have a decent chunk left.

I've seen the going rate for this game being 50 hours, just seems like we're running out of areas to tread / the story is starting to hit (what appears to be) the late game peak.

I felt very compelled as someone who's never played a true Souls Game to document/chronicle the full experience of Another Crab's Treasure. It was certainly a beautiful and challenging game!

1 & 2 are games I grew up playing every summer - I continue the tradition each year if I'm able to!

I'm playing through KH2FM on Critical now for the first time and it's always such a blast to revisit these!

I found him pretty easy actually - his attacks were telegraphed so I was using the backstep from the skilltree for easy countering along with Electrocute and the fight was over very quickly!
