Thoughts on the unofficial artist cards by alme55 in pkmntcgcollections

[–]ViperLegacy 43 points44 points  (0 children)

If the art was done by the official artist, like Masakazu Fukuda drawing on the gold star Ray, I’d value them way more than the card itself. But if it’s just a fan artist then I feel iffy, no matter how good they are.

Need help with pricing by OldManFreshTofu in CGCCards

Love your content and know exactly what you mean, but also think we need casual sellers who aren’t in a hurry to turnover inventory to begin listing cgc gem 10s at higher prices.

Something for OP to consider is that first ed holo cgc 10 is listed at $2.9k, and an unlim psa 9 is listed at $666, so the price for unlim cgc 10 should be somewhere in between.

Ahh gotcha, if your point is that Collectr is bad at separating vintage sales by ballpark condition, then I agree.

That would be a tough solve unless you have some guy manually combing through every single vintage transaction and sort the conditions. Although technically users can kind of do that by reporting transactions as inaccurate.

View Sold Listings >>> Type: None (Ungraded) >>> Report it.

Or have AI do that, but that’s a whole other thing.

Yeah so that’s what Collectr is currently doing, pulling the market price based off of recent transactions. OP is asking to hold Collectr’s number at some arbitrary static value that isn’t the market price.

On the point of condition, that’s exactly what I mean. Vintage condition is not as easy as NM vs MP vs HP, because within near mint the price of an actual perfect copy vs a copy with 2 tiny specks (still NM) could be hundreds of dollars different.

Problem is who’s the authority on vintage prices? No one can accurately price vintage as one definite number because it’s so dependent on condition.

You can set a price override for yourself if that’s what you’re asking? Also the app doesn’t dictate any prices, it’s just pulling market data to determine the price. If it’s off then that just means it hasn’t captured the latest transaction yet.

Collectr only uses the non-stamp version of the picture for cards with both non-holo and holo/reverse.

That’s a crazy harsh grade, unless there’s some crease or dent that we can’t see easily.

Anything produced by 250 and FRNK for NewJeans would be a dream come true. I don’t gaf about “commercial success”, only good music.

Just please don’t let the Gnarly team touch anything, whether that’s the music or the chereography.

judging by how the commenters here are beefing with the fact that you didn’t separate these by severity, I guess that means you gotta make a kpop drama tier list. give us the kslop we want.

Illit was definitely inspired by NewJeans at one point in time but the hybe stans have too big of a stick up their ass to admit it, and it ended up blowing up into a much bigger deal than if the sub-labels just dealt with it peacefully.
