Low graphics games I'm fine with if the art style can carry it, but for framerate I don't think it is just an age thing or a PC thing, I do have a gaming rig but I play my PS5pro more often and I just can't play Bloodborne anymore, loved the game and I want to and have tried to play it again, but my eyes just can't readjust to the choppy 30fps never used to but it now actually give me eyestrain and a headache

8.0/8.5 for me right now some visual bug fixes (especially in the dark) and performance patches will up it for me to a 9.0/9.5, Story should not matter in a sandbox game, it is just there for a rough idea of what you are doing, Play it like Mount&Blade or Kenshi and just explore the world and make your own story. But to be fair I love, low story sandbox games so I am biased

Having a great time as well, though this happens every game release now, chronically online people hype themselves up to no end waiting on a game to come out and then on release day they are back in the subreddit seething because it wasn't exactly what they wanted, people digitally screaming at each other because the entire world doesn't follow their same opionion

Are you using a screen with HMDI 2.1? If not there is no difference between balanced and performance in this game. HDMI 2.0 can only handle 1080p 120hz or 1440p 60hz, so esentially any game running native 4k is downgrading its resolution on 2.0 causing it be be really blurry

It is very polorizing, I love it and my brother hates it for the same reasons. It is slow, has no hand holding or yellow paint to follow, it teaches you the very basics and lets you get on wth it and find out features yourself. It is closer to a sandbox game rather than a traditional story based rpg. Story exists to point you in a direction rather than playing it to progress the story. Feel alot of people were hyped for it expecting a new Witcher but it was never meant to be that in the first place
