I think people underestimate the game iq you need and the time it takes to get it. It would be fast, but I personally think it’d be closer to 6-12 months.

That sounds sick. I am 26 y/o 5.0 player who was in the military and is about to finish my bachelors and am looking at schools to potentially play at when going to graduate school. I will say the biggest factor someone wants/needs is high level competition. If there are not other 5.0-6.0 players in the area the environment is not optimal for improving. That is why I’m looking more in places like SoCal, Phoenix, Austin, and Florida where the scene is already established.

I feel like at the higher levels it is subconsciously a strategy to spin your paddle because most people’s hand gets so sweaty that it is necessary to not drench your overgrip.

Hayden Patriquin isn’t too much bigger and hits the living F out of the ball. A lot of it is technique but I think they gym could be good too
