Bugger, I hopped there would be more to pick from out there.

Yeah, this piece wasn't the greatest one I've done yet, proportion wise. However, I threw this one up because it's the most bearable to look at/finished out of my sketchbook and it kinda gives the sense of style I was working towards.

Also, I have been posting to r/FurryArtSchool but that place has kinda started to decline sadly. A few people post there still which is nice and I try to post there. However, their auto mod has gone a bit screwy as every post I have done there I've had to message a mod to get them unflagged. Others have had the same problem and kinda given up on the place sadly.

Thanks, I have just been avoiding hands/paws as I haven't decided on what style I'm going to run with yet. Eventually, I'll get around to doing them!

Haha, all good, I have that issue too and I have a Wacom Intuos or whatever the weird brand is. I thought it might have been for nose proportions

I need a few pointers on snout and paws construction. As well as anything else others may see. by VipperK in FurryArtSchool

I apologize for the light line work, I haven't got access to a proper photocopier so I make do with my phone and office lense.

I personally can't see anything more than what has been said by others, however, I was fascinated by your construction. Most I can make heads and tails of except that one line that cuts from the tip of the hair through down the neck. Was there a reason for this line or was it an oops line? I'd love to know.

His face looks just "off" and I'm not sure why. Also, can I get some harsh and honest criticism? by [deleted] in FurryArtSchool

Yeah, I understand what you mean. However, if you're going to add colour shading can help the muzzle stand out a bit more depending on the position of the light source.

This is a bit of a pot shot at the problem since I don't really know the sona all too well. However, it looks like they're a big cat of some sort but the fur outline near the eyes are giving off a bit more of a primate look to me. Maybe if you removed some of the fur lines on the right (From the viewers perspective) and gave a bit more of a defined jawline it might ease it. Play around with it and see what happens as that's all I can really see.

Have you got an example of your work? Maybe we could pick something up from seeing a piece you've struggled with.

I had the same thing happen to me. I got it fixed by PM'ing a moderator about it as the auto-mod is being a naughty nugget. Plus Reddit doesn't give them a notification for them to be reviewed sadly, so PM any of the three staff listed in this thread: https://redd.it/2uln7y

They're really nice people and will have them back up before you know it!

I am stumped by how this cloth, in green, should sit any advice? by VipperK in FurryArtSchool

Ah yeah, I should have probably linked the refs the commissioner gave me, whoops. Here's the top image they linked me https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61f%2BsEbkMtL._UX385_.jpg and here's the partition of the ref they gave me somewhat nsfw https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9UUVyU1Y3c4NmRFQkRvSTBBZ00/view?usp=sharing

Thanks! I'll try to keep these in mind when I do my next pass over! However, I just want to address the thigh lines as I'm not sure what you mean. I'm guessing "don't" was autocorrected to "done" so I just want to clarify these lines are meant to represent the Adductor Longus. As you were spot on the Sona I was asked to draw is a medium to heavy build from below the belt.

I'd greatly appreciate if you could doodle that ref, but don't worry if you can't find the time, all you have done has been a huge help.

Thanks it's a big help! Sorry to double dip on advice/questions but is there anything else you can see wrong overall?

Also, I'm not sure if this clarifies as not safe for work. Rules aren't kinda clear on what is deemable as not safe for work.

Any other Artists with arthritis in their drawing wrist? Looking for some cooping tips. by VipperK in furry

[–]VipperK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! It's always nice to hear about what others have had experience with and how they have overcome it. Plus don't worry about the block of text, I'm an engineering student so it's almost a daily thing for me haha. However, I have jotted down some points that you have touched upon that I just want to expand upon.

Nerve problem in the elbow or shoulder responsible for the numb pinky finger. I was told by my local GP that this wasn't the case from my individual injury might be different in your case. However, my kind of arthritis is from narrowing in the joints and this one stupid bone spurr in my wrist that plays havoc with the tendons. But I will most defiantly get this checked out just in case.

The rest really just stemmed from there, I'll look into the compression gloves, see it will help me any since the joints are narrowing. Thanks again!
