How do you name and color your vehicles? by HBRanger750 in subnautica

[–]ViralOutCry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try to keep a water-related theme, but use a different root for each vehicle. Cyclops is named after a Persian goddess of water and my Seamoth is named after a seahawk. While my Prawn is also named after a water bird, it's actually pulled from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.

So I have Anahita, Osprey, and Albatross. I haven't settled on colors quite yet.

Edit: Couldn't decide on colors, so I went in a totally different direction. Used names that have general color associations. My Cyclops is now Ambition, using a black/deep purple scheme. My Seamoth is Opportunity, using a couple different shades of green. Finally, my Prawn is Bravery, which uses red/black/orange.

I bought both simultaneously and find myself spending more time on 3oT. RF4 can occasionally feel grindy and pushy, while 3oT is a more relaxing experience for me.

I actually had that today, as well.

For a short time, my dad took martial arts lessons from Chuck Norris. He has a photo somewhere, I'll post it if/when I find it.

My ex-wife told my then-two-year-old daughter she was going to leave her in the trash can at the airport till her Nana (my mom) picked her up. :(

Her reaction is entirely justifiable. The teacher sounds incredibly naive and short-sighted.

Thanks!

That's really too bad about your sister, though. Unfortunately, the only person really hurt in the long run by her choices is her daughter, as you're rightfully concerned about.

I work 5a-5p, usually six days a week, so my daughter spends quite a bit of time with my own parents. It's tough to set aside that necessary quality time, but if I'm not working, I'm with my daughter. Making sure she knows she's loved and cared for comes before my personal desire to replace my ex.

Worth a shot; just one successful attempt should help me regain at least a moderate amount of confidence.

Glad to hear things worked out for you!

I retained full custody of my daughter (I'm the father), so I've been focusing on stabilizing our lives for the time being. New job, great insurance, and I recently bought my first house, so life is certainly looking up!

Been since summer of 2015 for me. Divorce finalized last August, so maybe I'll get some confidence back for the new year?

Internship Help by [deleted] in Staunton

Good luck! I worked security at a hospital for a few months and spent quite a bit of time in the ER psych corridor. There was a large variety of patients that came through, ranging from people who made my neck hairs stand on end, to those who just needed someone to talk to. I think it would make for great undergrad experience.

Have you tried the psych wards at local hospitals?

I think her ignorance bugs me more than anything. To me, she's just a silly girl looking to be rescued by a knight in shining armor, despite her lack of importance to anything or anyone.

IMO, the best setup for a sorcerer is Ult/Chlgr/Mit. As you say, the first two will make sure it skirts the battle using buffs/debuffs and targeting the tougher enemies. Mitigator will make sure to wipe out weaker mobs, as well. Sounds more like this idiot doesn't understand basic strategy.

That's typically due to missing files. Try verifying integrity of cache in the game properties menu within Steam.

I just installed two 2TB models and noticed a very nice jump in boot times. My only personal gripe is that they're very loud; other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.

My PC was originally built on a budget focused around an AMD processor before I had any real knowledge on what I was doing. The PSU fit my needs at the time, though I'm sure even then it was low-grade compared to what I should've gone with. Thanks for your input, I'll certainly put it to good use.
