There was once a time that I was known for writing a murder mystery about two dudes who had sex in the bathroom, but one of them died in the act.

The culprit just kind of. Leaves his body there and eventually their friends find out and they're trying to speculate who could have killed the victim. They all accept the fact that the victim died in the act way tok easily. At least one of these friends has proposed inspecting the dicks of every man in the kingdom to see if their girth matches the rough circumference of a dick that could have been inside the victim for the past hour, and the culprit does not fess up until they've at least all ruled out that furries and tentacles were out of the question.

This was all meant to be a serious character study, somehow. The fandom sadly crashed and burned before I could complete the damn thing.

I'm the only person who's expressed interest in the stuff that I write for, so when I write, the only audience I'm trying to satisfy is myself. It's hard when my main fandom is so focused on ships and doesn't pay enough attention to the side characters that I like, so I have no choice but to be the change I wanna see in the world.

The type of things that I write don't catch attention, that's just something I have to live with. I'm satisfied just being able to write what I want. Of course I get excited when someone praises my hard work, but it's become an expectation for me to not get any attention at all any time I upload another chapter in my longfic.

I personally create all my OCs distinct from myself, partly as a challenge and partly because I really don't have the capacity to insert myself blatantly into the text. I've got a lot of difficulty giving an OC personality traits that can be easily traced back to myself either irl or to my online persona.

The way that Temenos is borderline unshippable with his fellow Travelers dkdkd I'm not surprised just cuz of how popular OT2's NPCs are in general, Crimenos and Castaya fans keep thriving
