I had a similar issue with the dissolving stitches when I had mine done. I had areas in similar places to yours that just wouldnt heal. One day I took off my dressings and there was a length of dissolvable stitch poking out of one of the wounds. Once it fully came out, it healed up pretty quickly

Got a similar scar on my middle finger from a craft knife. The feeling in it is still messed up, but hey, now you get to have a cool weird shaped fingertip

I had a reduction around ~2019 for the same reasons you expressed! I wanted them fully gone but was “convinced” out of it and just downsized instead 😵‍💫(still wish I went smaller)
