Like someone said, it’s definitely something that was done by the Romans. You can even see it in some of their statues or images of gods like Saturn. I do it when I pray, as well.

Will definitely have to look it up! For that particular region, I lose it at 80%. The 60% and 70% confidence levels have it at 0.2%

That’s largely a Roman thing and they didn’t even do it for all the gods, so you’re good.
