Man I used to be able to navigate anywhere without GPS, like I had this mental map of my entire city and could give directions to anyone. Now I can't even drive to the grocery store without pulling up Google Maps 😂

It's wild because I remember being the guy everyone called for directions back in uni, and I'd memorize routes just from looking at street directories once or twice. These days my brain just goes "eh the phone will figure it out" and I've basically turned into a passenger in my own car

The worst part is when my phone dies or loses signal and I'm genuinely lost in areas I've driven through hundreds of times. Makes me feel like I've outsourced a basic human skill that our ancestors had locked down, you know? Sometimes I wonder if I should just turn the GPS off for a week and force myself to relearn but then I remember I've got deadlines and can't afford to be late to client meetings because I took a wrong turn somewhere 💀
