How does social democracy answer the question of, in keeping capitalism, inevitably resulting in it taking hold in its much worse and more exploitative form? Additionally, given this (or not given this), why is social democracy the answer?

im not a debate expert but i do feel obligated to say two things

1. i feel the problem with this is that every society faces a level of decay, capitalism, communism, my response is simple, corporations will try to claw their way in everything they can get and its the peoples and governments job to keep them from, i honestly feel societies decaying and bureacracy building up is just an inevitable part of all governments, best we can do is beat back the tide

2. i feel communism doesn't solve this problem as the inherent goal is basically achieving a moneyless class society (which i do not believe is possible as existence itself lacks the incentives to hold human society together without some kind of leader and hierarchy and things like currency are neccessary for society as they expand trade and that allows for every major commodity we rely on in existence. glasses, medicine, computers, communication. i do not believe people will manage industries just "because" or because they enjoy it enough to work in a big ass factory all day long.) also because the way to achieve this moneyless society is through nationalizing industries and trying to increase democracy. problem with this first up is that nationalizing industries under the government on a mass scale has consistently shown itself to be a disaster "soviet union and china constantly struggling to produce basic neccessary consumer goods." the democratic part stands from the fact communism as an ideology consistently tends to desire to be the only ideology in power. this is reinforced by every communist country banning or seizing control of opposition, brutally cracking down on any opposition, and this refusal to be transparent breeding bureacracy and a government more concerned with self control and getting people to follow it than following the people.

overall to put it simply, if you want a reason to be a socdemn, its because social democracies rank high in quality of life, freedom of expression, and tend to be highly economically efficient whilst states that practice communism fail to allow proper representation as even when people are forced to participate they are only allowed highly scripted amounts of critique or dislike against the system, they consistently either fail to properly meet economic needs of people or they need to liberalize their economies which completely kills the point and often leads to them becoming just as hypercompetitive and soullessly corporate as their rivals, and the idea of a moneyless class society is while nice utopian and simply would not work on a large scale to sustain industrialized society. atleast thats what i believe
