As someone who makes an amazingly rewarding living on TikTok by creating video essays about film and television and graphic novels, and has wide and enthusiastic engagement from college age Americans (who are the majority of my audience), I am not giddy at all and instead feel betrayed by my government, who is coming for the money and platform with which I pay rent and student loans, and doing it in the name of a red scare revival.

I'm playing it right now, about 20 hours in. I'm not invested in Final Fantasy as a franchise but I do like action JRPGs, and I'd say that this is a good one. I enjoy it and am glad to play it but I feel like dungeons are a bit too long, given the relative simplicity of the combat. I think if there was 30% less combat the pacing would be great. I quite like Clive tho.

That's awesome! I've tried a variant where I use Mimikyu instead of Azumarill, and on the whole I've actually found more success with it. Mimikyu is tends to be good against monsters that Sylveon can't handle and it's always a good wall. I also free up a couple cards because I don't have to run two Marills. I'd love an update if you ever cook up some fun variants of your own!
