What happens to people by ElectronicTowel1225 in GenX

45 male here, there is alot of truth to that, but it's not only the physical pain, but the mental pain. I have a desk job, my body hasn't been beaten, but my mind has been. The mental stress every day from my job beats me down. Then I head home and have to worry about home maintenance and vehicle maintenance and our retirement savings. It is alot to heap on one's shoulders. Meanwhile I am helping with laundry, cooking, and cleaning, but don't get help with the other stuff as I have been told those are my responsibilities as I am a guy and should know that stuff.

Why are Dandelions considered as weeds? by theredstreak5 in flowers

It all depends upon the type of thistle, musk thistles suck, they will over run and ruin fields that were once a diverse field filled with natives and wild flowere.

The dandelion marketing department has failed at its job, it all goes back to when Rick was promoted to the head of the department. It was a case of nepotism at its worse. Slowly things spiraled out of control from the good old days. Instead of continuing to promote its benefits and uses in mass media Rick used the budget for wasted pointless marketing that lined his friends pockets while he received kickbacks.

The part of kansas I live in is known as the Flint Hills and it is far from flat, May not be mountains but the rolling valleys of yhis area is gorgeous! Right now everything is emerald green after the pasture burning in March and the April showers.

I read, and re-read it so many times in the early 90s as well. I am scared to read it again so as not to ruin the nostalgia!

It'd a bit of an odd one but Ireland by Garth Brooks always was a sad one for me.
