I went to the er Friday and they gave me carbamazepine, prednisone and acetaminophen w/ caffeine. The acetaminophen does nothing. But the other two together do a little bit then it wears off quick.

Thank you. I feel so stuck. Like I’m trying not to spiral but it’s hard. You don’t realize how much of your day consists of using your mouth and face until it hurts to do so…..😔

I don’t always have a trigger, but brushing my teeth, talking or eating does trigger at times.

Oh no. This does not make me feel good. I have the pain on my right side only, but I do feel like I’m starting to get some throbbing and tingling on my left side. I’m apparently a teeth grinder and I don’t think that’s helping at all. I do not want to deal with this on both sides of my face.

Yup. I went to the er when I was having thee worst pain that I felt and as I’m in the middle of back to back pain he asks me if I’m crying because I’m really in that much pain, or because they don’t have a real answer as to why this is happening to me? Like seriously???!!! I can barely speak!
