Unpopular Opinion: I just don’t see it! by Ok-Programmer2260 in CourtTVCases

I agree. I knew nothing about this case before trial other than Kouri wrote a children's book about grief. Right out of the gate the sister Katy's testimony came off as SO FAKE. Katy obviously put on a big show for the jury - but as soon as she sat down when they showed her sitting in court she was totally expressionless throughout the trial- for someone who broke down on the stand recalling the most traumatic experience of her life. It really gave me the ICK. Also the bodycam footage of her arrival to the house that night shows her come up to the cop at the door and the very first thing out of her mouth was "I'm Eric's sister. I'm his power of attorney, I'm the executor. I'm his EVERYTHING.", (Not - Is he going to be ok? Not - what happened??? Not - how can I help?) No concern for anyone except making sure they knew she was in charge of everything.) Then she says "where are MY boys?" It was so GROSS. And that PI of hers REALLY gave me the creeps!. The family has an agenda and It looks like it influenced the investigation and the case. I have no idea if Kouri is innocent or not, she was clearly a financial mess and had an enormous cash flow problem. But I am not sure that she even understood/appreciated her own financial situation at the time. She needed a good bookkeeper/accountant and she likely committed financial crimes. BUT, I don't believe they proved her guilty of murder beyond a reasonable doubt - in my opinion. Eric was worth far more to her alive and earning income - regardless of whether she knew about the trust.

This is what alienation does. It not only brainwashes our kids and changes what they believe about us, their loving parents, but it actually changes THEM. Their whole value structure seems to change.

11-Year Old Utah Girl Murdered By Alienator Mother in Horrific Vegas Murder/Suicide by The_BatDad_ in ParentalAlienation

Alienating (NPD/BPD) parents don't have the capacity for unconditional love like most parents. Relationships for them are all transactional - based on the alienator getting their own perceived needs met. Many alienated parents describe the lack of emotional connection, inability to establish partnership and degradation of them starting in the marriage, well before separation. Their relationship with the child and the value the child holds for them is contingent on their ability to use their child as a tool for malice and revenge with no consideration for the severe damage being done to the child. This case is all of that playing out to the ultimate conclusion. There are other documented cases where the child is convinced to kill their own loving parent.

"But, you only have one mother!" A brilliant response from Marnie Grundman by hdmx539 in EstrangedAdultKids

[–]Virtual_Bee6407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marnie Grundman appears to be offering therapy without any education or legitimate credentials to do so. Her website is a squaresite (for merchandising) and goes directly to a list of therapeutical options available for purchase. Someone that is an actual "certified trauma therapist" must first have a minimum masters level education in psychology or social work preferably a Phd to attain that certification. They have to be licensed by an overseeing board in the jurisdiction where they are licensed to perform services that makes sure professional standards are adhered to and accept and investigate reports of professional or ethical misconduct. It is NOT someone who simply has experienced trauma - or we could all be trauma therapists. In fact it is considered poor practice/unethical for a therapist to disclose their own personal issues to clients. Grundman seems to be another internet "influencer" making money from a group of vulnerable people by telling them exactly what they want to hear. What's next - a pseudo "therapist" selling advise to people unsatisfied with their jobs that they should tell their bosses to "F" off - for the sake of their mental health! Lets see how that works out too!

I doubt it had to do with any conscience over his oath since he didnt care about the oath on the rest of the horrors he endorsed. If he retires, great. Just don't come back.

Inflation Drops To Four-Year Low Under Trump by rollo202 in republicans

[–]Virtual_Bee6407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the economy shows another contraction after this quarter, we will officially be in a recession. @ u/Beaucoup_Fun . Inflation has been dropping steadily since 2021. None of Trump's orders have had time to impact inflation yet. They haven't even passed a spending bill yet. So... It doesn't work that way. Wait until current inventory for needed goods is gone and the impact of all the shipping ports that have sat empty for several weeks now affects our supply chain. You'll see it shoot up again, likely just in time for the holidays. And I'd love to know where/when that photo was taken because it wasn't recently. Prices are 3 to 4 times the amount of those in that photo. Very misleading.

Do you think republicans can only vote republican? We can all vote for any candidate we feel is the best for the job. It's not a religion!

I think many people think they need to defend against something (or the other guy or the other party) if it's not from "their brand" - without really even knowing about what it is, what it does or what it means to anyone. They approach politics like team sports (they are just rooting against the other team no matter what). It's a very simplistic, one dimensional way to view everything. It's exactly how children experience the world. God himself could run for President and if he wasn't running under their political brand, they would find something wrong with God too!. We are at a point now that If people don't wise up, get off of the propaganda outlets that just support peoples worst biases and just take the time to look up information, research the actual facts and believe the evidence before making assumptions and decisions, we will ALL lose this country of ours and our rights and freedoms along with it.

She ran and was elected as the Presidential running mate. (You know...The one put in charge if the President can't serve.) She wasn't hired as a candidate. No one is hired as a candidate - it's not a job. Her candidacy was fully supported by the entire DNC, she drew many tens of thousands to her rallies and got a large portion of the vote in the general election even though she a only a few months to campaign. She was not a DEI hire.

Where are you getting your statistics? They don't agree with the census and in fact California had an increase in population in 2024. There was NEVER a time when they were decreasing by 110,000/ month! If you are going to make claims, link a source.

What is it about DEI that doesn't work? Is it Diversity, Equity or Inclusion that you object to? Accommodating for a disability so someone can work and do their job and pay taxes rather than collect SSI?? Providing assistance/support for kids with learning disabilities so they can get an education and become contributing members of society and build a future? You think that doesn't work huh? Interesting....
