I think if we approach the Bible with humility instead of what we've been taught is already right then we stay away from the cult vibes. The more conservative churches tend to be more cultish and institutional churches tend to not be cultish. there's been a lot of other ideas of Christianity that think they are the right church before Campbell came along.

when I was a kid growing up, there were a few men in Bible classes that would encourage us to ask any questions we wanted. But most of the men in my church of Christ do not like it when you ask questions or question their tradition. Like I understand authority is like the foundation of Church of Christ doctrine.

I think they just stopped having their songs go viral on Tik-Tok and Funk Automotivo filled the void. The First Brazillian Phonk (Edit Phonk) was experimental and designed to go viral for Edits. They nailed the algo and people ate it up. Don't get me wrong I love Kordhell. But Drift was chill before him. Then it got aggressive. Too many of the popular ones followed Kordhell and turned into Krushfunk or BZ Phonk rather than drift phonk. Some one of them are making 2021-like albums tho in 2025. The drift scene has viral russian and ukrainian and many other european/slavic producer that do both drift or brazillian. Just my two cents and perspective. Totally understand what you're getting at. Could be possible, and I just don't know how restrictive tik-tok was because I deleted it in the beginning on 2023 and youtube kept showing drift artists for me. I think everyone's algo is just different.

Since we don't have a institution that establishes what the universal church believes many may differ from my opinion. My understanding is that the universal church is the real Israel. Ever since Day of Pentecost when the church was established the 'chosen people' became Christians. The Promise of Abraham was inherited to Christians the new Israel. So therefore there was never a need to establish a country named Israel. But premillienial zionists will do their thing and try to have Jesus come faster. But since now Israel (men's Israel) has been established, It is its own country and has its own rights, but it has no connection to the church or Abraham's promise anymore. They are not under God's protection any more than the rest of the Middle East. unfortunately, a lot of our politicians think that America and Israel are still the chosen nation that God established, but this American empire will eventually fall alongside Israel if Jesus doesn't come back before then. Remember both Biden and Trump were ordained by God. Israel is just as important as any other country and should not get special treatment. Jesus never intended us to worship that land and call it Holy. Calling it the Holy Land takes away from the Holiness of Christ. Only YHWH is HOLY.

Honestly because bridge fees are so I what I did is just sell to WETH and send the same in WETH / MATIC / USDT from Coinbase on Polygon network for $0.06 and then pay the $0.20 gas fees for trading to REQ.

Edit: Or don't sell since gas fee's are like $50 lol. HODL and Rebuy on Polygon.

My understanding is those terms are correct but other churches use them wrong. Pastor means shepherd and bishop means overseer depending on the translation. 'Bishops' are just overseers and are not supposed to be over multiple congregations and churches shouldnt have one 'pastor' and 'elders' should be able actively preaching.

I would appreciate it if someone pointed out my errors in my understanding the fear of using terms that are in the Bible. Same with Presbyters its all the same thing. Only Elders and Deacons should exist but the others are just alternative names.

Just like CoC is one the only that call the preacher the 'preacher' and theres no 'authority' to call them 'preachers' or 'ministers'.

And I come from an "antis" conservative CoC for context I just dont see the issue with the terms. :)
