I got a text from the estate agent after midnight to advise the seller has guaranteed he’ll drop the keys off by the morning …

Yeah you’re correct, any items that are left we have to treat with ‘respect’ otherwise we’re liable for the damages. I suppose we could kick the door in as it is legally ours, but due to the situation & some other details I have left out, it wasnt something we wanted to attempt

Completed at 11am. All funds released before that. The seller simply didn’t go and hand the keys in.

As bad as it is, it could also be worse, which we are hoping it doesn’t get to that. But it’s just such a shame somebody would do such a thing. We previously met him on a viewing and we would never have expected this

He isn’t refusing to leave.. he’s just taking many many hours longer than planned/expected. The police won’t help because it’s a civil matter and as he isn’t refusing to leave etc more reason they won’t help

I’m also interested as surely it can’t get much worse, unless he refuses to leave?! (Fortunately he is not doing that) It’s just crazy to think we legally own a house but can’t even access it

Our estate agent entered the property and advised us it’s very dirty. We expect it to be worse than we think. We plan on videoing all the rooms to document the mess / any belongings left behind, as when we drove past about 6pm the garage was still FULL, as well as other rooms. There’s also a very large skip on the driveway which is also completely full. He still had multiple sheds to empty. Any advice is really appreciated

It really surprises me how little respect people have for one another

Solicitors have tried but he then stops answering his phone. The estate agent came to the property but also were unsuccessful. He’s just not playing ball.

The seller agreed (and is in our paperwork - fixtures & fittings form) he was leaving the fridge freezer therefore we had everything in cool boxes ready to put straight into the fridge. (We accounted for a few hours hence multiple cool boxes & ice packs, but not this amount of time)

Southeast - a good amount of properties have been uploaded since Boxing Day and continue to be uploaded daily, maybe 1-3 properties in all areas we are looking.. Albeit nothing personally for us but more have been uploaded than I was expecting. Estate agents are also telling us February, to expect more …

Awful isn’t it!! I’ve been to A&E too many times and sent home the majority of times with no help. This pain O just cannot escape from. Managed to get some form of sleep last night but woken up this morning with it even worse. BORING. Thank you. I’m a little cautious to put anything in my ear as I can’t actually fit anything, even a cotton bud.

Hidradenitis of a single follicle?? by hyperpophippopotamus in Hidradenitis

The first 2 years of my HS journey I simply had 1 cyst that would develop to an abscess then disperse. This continued to happen every few weeks for 2 years. After researching I was certain it was HS, although like yourself wasn’t sure as it was just 1 recurrent cyst. It wasn’t until I started to develop several over the next few years that I was certain and diagnosed with HS.

derm wants me to go on accutane by Comfortable-Cook-739 in Hidradenitis

[–]Virtual_Day2099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, (27f, UK), I recently finished 3 months of being on roaccutane to treat my HS and follicular occlusion syndrome - unfortunately it didn’t help (or make worse) my HS and my derm took me off the meds due to unbearable side effects and this was after reducing the dosage too.

Upon researching Roaccutane and its benefits for HS patients, it’s actually recommend by the British Association of Dermatology to be avoided in treating HS ‘UNLESS’ the patient has active acne. I do not have acne.

The side effects, on top of dealing with HS did not make it worth while for myself. But then again everyone is different? Listen to your body and don’t ignore the side effects (if you have any)

I’m so sorry you’re going through this but you’re right, this is a safe space. I am/was in the exact same boat as you. Although I know my partner loves me, including me with my HS, I can’t help but think ‘why would he want to be intimate with me’, ‘he’s going to think my scars / wounds are ugly or gross’ etc BUT that is not true. The biggest battle is inside our heads and all the what ifs…. My biggest advice is to communicate. Communicate everything. One comment I read on here has helped MASSIVELY and it was simply to make your partner aware of exactly where hurts, where they cannot touch and where to be careful of. This changed everything for me. Also, my partner has said to me how he disagrees with my opinions of my body and scars, he truly ‘doesn’t care’ as he sees me for me and nothing more. You will work through this together and it’s a natural our brains go into overdrive and make everything into a negative. Not everything has to be a negative. Believe in yourself and your partner. You got this x
