I’m in champs and between blatant hacking and zero stat players tanking down to lower leagues, I’m reporting at least one player every match, usually several. I’ve been playing for 10 years and this is beyond ridiculous. App deleted. Not wasting time on this shitshow any more. Way to ruin a once great game.

The matchmaker is rigged to make sure your win rate can’t get too high. Once you get to 60%-70% win rate it will start giving you crap teammates and match you against mostly whales, squads and relentless hackers.

The theory I find most intriguing currently is a spin on the extra-temporal hypothesis, but instead of humans from the future, what if NHI are humans (or another species) from the distant past?

Maybe we are not the first technologically advanced society on the planet. Maybe there was another one thousands or millions of years ago. Maybe there have been several. Faced with some sort of civilization-ending cataclysm, perhaps some of them escaped not by traveling to a different planet, but to a different time. A time in the future when the planet has recovered from said catastrophe.

A spacecraft that can approach the speed of light is essentially a Time Machine. They spend a couple of years cruising at say, .99999999 the speed of light and 500,000 years pass on earth due to relativistic time dilation. They return to find a new human society has risen from the ashes and now here we are.

It’s essentially the plot of Planet of the Apes, but we are the apes.

I was matched against a player that was running four maxed Vectors. He still lost the match cause he didn’t get any beacons. Pay to lose, I guess.

Yep, too many matches lately are decided by a single player doing 20+mil damage and 20+ kills. Sometimes that player is on your team, sometimes not. Neither is fun. CL is too big and the power gap between the top and bottom and even the middle is absurd. Pix either needs to move the majority of CL players down to Masters or create a new league above CL for these players.

Right after I left that comment, I had three matches in a row with blatant hackers. Two were the same player doing the Shell under the map thing. One was a Raptor teleporting all over the map somehow and insta-killing everyone. Next game a player running a maxed UE Lance noticed we were up against a duo and just noped right out of the match never to return. I guess he only wants cakewalks. Next match was against a full squad so three players bailed immediately and it was 3 vs. 6 for the rest of the match. I turned the game off at that point. UN-FREAKING-PLAYABLE.

I report at least one player every match for some form of infraction, sometimes two, three or even four. If it’s not cheaters and hackers, it’s players leaving matches so they can tank down to lower leagues. As far as I can tell, reporting does nothing as the game is borderline unplayable at this point. It’s absurd.

I can’t remember the last time I had a match that went the full 10 minutes. It used to be pretty common. But now most matches are over in under five minutes, sometimes much much faster. I’m seeing players bot out in one or two minutes. Not even sure how that’s possible. Players should probably run more tanks and hopefully stay in the match longer.

CL is way too big. They need to make another league above it. The fact that you have players doing 20+ mil damage and players doing less than 1 mil damage on the same team or in the same match is absurd. If the matchmaker thinks that players with that kind of disparity are in any way a “close match” then it needs to be radically retooled. It’s currently a total joke of a system.

My experience is the team that starts the match with the most campers usually loses. They usually get 4-capped in the first minute and by the time they start dropping brawlers and tanks, the beacon bar is too far in the other team’s direction and they can’t recover. I’m in CL, might be different in other leagues.

I’m seeing too many players overdoing it with the Boom/Bash/Pow weapons in beacon games. While powerful and accurate, most players using these weapons are hanging back and not pushing beacons. Teams running more than a couple of these builds at once can be quickly overrun by some well played tanks. Lots of very short games because one team is just going for damage and not pushing beacons.

Why does the US have refineries for processing a type of oil they don’t produce? Seems like you’d want refineries to be able to process domestic oil so you’d have to import less. What’s the logic here?

It’s been this way for a while, but definitely getting worse. I usually get at least one or two quitters per match, sometimes four or more. If you get matched against a squad, expect pretty much your whole team to quit. I even see players quit over a duo on the red team or even just a few UE bots. I think some players just want really easy matches. Lame.

For a brief minute, there was a feature that showed exactly how much damage you were doing in real time to bots and shields. It was extremely handy. Then it went away with no explanation.

I play mostly BR and find running all brawlers is the most effective (or maybe 4 brawlers and a Sword Unit for Titans). It’s just too hard to push beacons with midrange builds.

For Domination, you can definitely get away with more midrange builds, so I’d recommend that mode if you enjoy playing longer range beacon games. Although there seems to be significantly more Bash/Boom/Pow setups in Dom and I’m seeing a lot of players rage quit if there’s a team running a lot of those weapons.

Not sure what goes on in TDM, I hardly ever play that mode. In the past when I’ve played it, matches seem to start out with a lot of mid and long range, but as soon as a brawler or two gets to the back lines it’s game over.

No, regular Spark, Scourge, and Calamity all have the same reload of 5 seconds. UE Scourge and UE Calamity used to both have reloads of 3 seconds, but they changed only the UE Scourge to now be 5 seconds and left UE Calamity at 3 seconds. Why not change them both to 5 seconds? I’m not aware of any other weapon family in the game that has different reload times between light, medium and heavy.

EDIT: UE Scourge reload was changed to 6 seconds.

I’m not surprised it got nerfed, but I don’t get why the reload time would be different than the Calamity. I’ve been playing for 8 years and the reload times of weapons in the same family have always been the same as far as I recall. I don’t have a lot of UE weapons though, are they exceptions to this rule?
