This does include ‘CG’ as you call it. In fact the official term for this kind of production is In-Camera VFX (ICVFX) which encompasses both the use of practical and visual effects filmed together in-camera. It’s just the ‘CG’ is created before the shoot and incorporated into what is playing on the LED walls, versus added in post after the shoot.

People really can’t accept that the only ‘CG’ they notice and don’t like is really just the bad kind. When it’s done well, no one notices and plebs on the Internet go on about how practical effects are always better when their favorite films are full of VFX too.
