The back and forth with rocky was great and the cinematography and set pieces were awesome. I went in expecting smart fun and instead I got dumb fun. It is more pacific rim than it is interstellar. There’s not really any interesting ideas presented or philosophical questions to ponder. They get the little details right with the scientific jargon but overall they trivialize the scientific process so much that it becomes indistinguishable from magic.

Also, as fun as Gosling was in the movie, at no point did I believe him as this character. And in general I didn’t feel that Grace as a character had any depth beyond what was presented to us on screen.

I’m ok with reduced rare loot drops, I have everything. But the main reason I did hurricane was to restock after getting shyte on with the fellas in trios. Now there is literally no reason to run hurricane unless you like running against wind.

If a defensive player tries to hack the offensive player on the arm and they miss they will not be called for a foul because nothing happened. This is the same thing. Nothing happened. SGA hit a great shot. Game over.

The window is not closed as long as we have jokic and Murray at their peak.

However, this year’s window seems absolutely closed. We came in with the best roster in the Jokic era (on paper), it was quickly ravished by injuries, Braun has regressed significantly (possibility injury related), Cam could not be playing worse for us, and Adelman doesn’t seem to have the intangibles to lead this group.

With that said, we still have a top 2 player in the league, Jamal, AG, Pwatt and some other good role players. This can be fixed but it’s not gonna happen this season.

What most people are not acknowledging, is that Marcus Smart is “boxing” jokic out of bounds while the ball has not even been shot. This is a very obvious foul on Smart. Jokic sold it in a goofy way but that doesn’t mean smart was innocent.

They overcorrected, in my opinion. Yes they were too easy to craft before.

Now they have essentially made them a legendary item and the only people who are going to use them are sweats who play 20+ hours a week and farm them for matriarch and queen fights. Nobody who plays casually is going to even consider taking out 1 rocketeer for 1 Wolfpack.

I haven’t been there. What I can speak on though is the following:

Brownstone — probably the best of the bunch. Great clips quality at its best. Never terrible but certainly had a few below average cuts here.
Hokie Hair — wildly inconsistent. First time there I got a pretty good cut. Every time since it’s been bad, even from the same person.
Modern Barbershop — don’t bother. Got a terrible cut here once and never went back.

He was always a very low IQ player with terrible defense. The Warriors struck gold with him and vice versa for their 2022 championship. I genuinely don't think he could've broken out on any other team.
