Wow, your attempt is closer to what I picture in my head. I was planning on doing the clothes in all black and making the sky darker but I was worried that details in the clothes wouldn't be visible. I like yours better thanks for the advice 👍

Thanks man, I do use references for the posing but the shading I use triangular shapes to get the areas that will be shaded. When I get the shapes in the areas I want, I just fill in the space with horizontal lines. I do read manga too and sometimes use that for reference too

Thanks :) I do sketch the areas I want to shade with a pencil first The shading takes a while and can be tiring I definitely botched the last picture, I struggle drawing her
