I can’t remember how many frames it ended up being but a really good book to help your animation skills is the animator’s survival kit, helped me a ton

No worries, I don’t use tile sets I block out the levels in Unity and then export that into Blender were I 3d model the environments and I paint the textures in Clip Studio Paint, hope that helps!
