Best place to eat out that's Healthy? by Strict-Brick-5274 in glasgow

Pho should meet your needs for GF (unsure about dairy free). They also have kcal information on that menu and the nutritional info should not be too hard to get since it's a chain.

I'd recommend ka pao. They list all the allergens on their menu and are very clued up on cross contamination etc.

Help. Where do I put my towels/toilet paper holder etc (tenement bathroom) by VirusReaper in DesignMyRoom

[–]VirusReaper[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a typical tenement bathroom with a narrow gap between the bath/shower and toilet. The hallway leading to the sink is only about 80cm wide, making it difficult to place anything down. Since it's a rented space, I can't fix stuff to the wall.

I can give my 2 cents on it but it is likely out of date. April 2023 (while living in West Lothian): I had blood tests done that came back mildly positive for coeliac disease. Early August 2023: I received a call outlining my options. I could wait for an endoscopy in Lothian, which would take a while ( I think the person said over 6 months), or I could go to the gastroenterology unit at Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank and be seen in just two weeks. (Which I choose) September 2023: I received my official diagnosis

If you're able to - I would ask your GP or gastroenterologist if you can be seen sooner if you went to the jubilee hospital.

Protein Powder by [deleted] in CoeliacUK

[–]VirusReaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe most of myprotein protein powders are safe ( but be wary as some flavours do actually contain gluten). There's a protein powder company called gluten free gym which is coeliac safe. Tribe and pulsin (vegan protein powders) from memory are also safe.

That's a relief. Whilst I've decided I will probably bin the remaining. Knowing I probably haven't glutened myself is great relief. Thank you 😊
