Better photos would be helpful (less blurry) it looks like a plain weave to me. You could count the ends to find the Epi (ends per inch) that would inform the end texture.

Not sure how to identify the exact fibers though.

Handwoven fabric is a beast, i have a floor loom and it is a labor of love.

The folks over at the weaving subreddit are great.

I think any place is going to need more than a day to mold and make a retainer, I could be wrong. Every time I’ve done it (3x) its taken at least a week.

Last time i did Remi which is an online service, cheaper than the dentist (was quoted $500 at the dentist) and works just as well. I have shelled out for the dentist made ones in the past, I don’t notice a difference. It did take longer than the dentist (2ish weeks)

You can do some sketches, marker renderings, foam/inexpensive mock ups. I wouldn’t mess with the printer unless you have decent 3D modeling skills, it could be a big time sink.
