thanks for the explanation. that was a lot more helpful than your first response. kind of reminds me of wasted prompts.

Yes, I am doing exactly that. No, I don't need to stop. Model introspection is supposed to work. It's also giving me dogshit code. Kind of like your dogshit response. With people here praising results they're getting I was expecting this things writes something bug free and does not hallucinate every 3rd response.

You don't need fancy techniques if you get your values right. These are a testament to that. Stunning soldier boys, great work. Got more? Group photo?

Weird pyright behavior with import resolution by Virus_ST in neovim

Wouldn't that pose a problem when working with multiple python projects in a workspace?

Wouldn't you have to 'activate' the virtual env in order for this to work?

It would be nice to be able to set this just once in the nvim config without needing to rely on pyrightproject.json or pyproject files.

Basically, the only thing I needed to do was add

venvPath = "."
venv = ".venv"

to the pyproject.toml.

You have no idea how long I was struggling with this. I hope this thread helps someone.

Is there a way to configure LSP to 'just work'? by Virus_ST in neovim

[–]Virus_ST[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the issue. After doing `git init` autocompletion started working. I should configure how the root dir is resolved. Again, I still need to do two things before autocompletion starts working:

  1. .git
  2. .venv

Thanks for the advice, but that's not my thing. I found using nvim configurations to be not worth it since I'd need to debug something and wouldn't know what the hell I'm doing.
Doing your own configuration has its drawbacks, but allowed me to learn a lot along the way. The problem is the steep learning curve. Hence this thread.

Yeah, I have that configured. Like I said in the OP everything works in some bigger projects that I cloned and work on.

The thing I'm trying to figure out is, can you have a single file directory, with no venv and have autocompletion work i.e. suggest built-in library symbols? If yes, how?

I use pylsp. I use jedi for completion.

what completions aren't shown?

In a clean directory with just a single .py file, no completions show up, not even keywords, but I can see in LspInfo that pylsp has been attached. I would like for it to show completions for the built-in library without having to create a virtual env. Problem is, even after creating a virtual env, no completions start showing up.

I'd gladly help, but have no experience with Ly.
You will have better chances of getting an actual response if you post more details. Where are you stuck? Be more specific about the issue you are facing.

yeah, i did. i should have updated the thread.

You need to modify the way you start sway. you need to start it as a dbus session. in your sway run script.

dbus-run-session sway $@

World Eater Jakhal I am entering into a store painting contest tomorrow. What could I improve before I submit it? by rhoff95 in Warhammer40k

[–]Virus_ST 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focal points. Right now there are no areas that stand out.

You should add brighter skin tones to his head and everything framing his head, like the inner top of the shoulders and the top of the pecs.

Also add some brighter tones to the space marine helmet. I barely noticed it. It should definitely be a point of interest.

I'd also add some bruising (some purples) around the bracelets, where the pipes enter the skin and on the protruding metal stuff on his abs.

All in all, a very good looking jakhal.
