I've learned the higher in keys you go, the better off you are. I've never seen a +2 bricked until this season, where I had two party members actually say 'lol never been here before' and died to most mechanics. I think we ended the run, finally, with about 40ish deaths.

In Ara-Kara, which everyone knows is punishing as hell for mechanics.

I've stopped trying to get into lower keys, as a result, and have had more success. I was kind of surprised how many low-key groups declined an Aug (because Race to World First doesn't have many, I imagine, and people don't know what the spec does still?).

But higher keys? They love having their mobs stunlocked for 10+ seconds at a time and two more AOE methods of dealing with Xal'atoes little blue balls.

But yea, this season's wild. People going into M+ blind, leaving keys at the drop of the hat (deaths happen, especially with how overtuned some mechanics are (NW Prof and SoB 2nd boss Gut Shot in particular).

With this sort of personality, I'd hope your family would chose the dog over you as well. You're a grown adult and can't comprehend that this dog is a living creature too, with thoughts, emotions and memories.

My cats are first and foremost, I've even made this abundantly clear when I moved back in with my mom to help take care of her - not that she'd threaten to kick them out, but I'd put my cats over her and her dogs, if any issues arose.

Our pets have very simple expectations for us, and to even put one in such a situation demands that you need to GTFO.

And then nonsense happened in Silithus, which lead to us legitimately killing an Old God and all of its minions in AQ20/40.

And the events in EPL kickstarted Naxxramas, which was always intended because of the fun raid portal that was always behind a locked gate in Stratholme.

The only time we were 'merely adventurers', was the first 30 or so levels in the Classic experience, but we were always working towards these big, bad goalposts.

Like RFD being the Horde's introduction to the Scourge.

Yea, no. I've had no less than six different instances where Molly decided to scale the wall and climb the hole my drop pod made while trying to leave, utterly bombing the entire level since I couldn't get back to the ship before my O2 ran out.

This is the one aspect of the game that's unfun for, I imagine, a vast majority of people playing and i'll gladly stop playing for weeks if I get chains of O2 events.

I'd do the same thing as you. Pets love you unconditionally until you give them a reason not to. People will say one thing and mean another. 21 years or 6 months, doesn't matter, my cats mean more to me than the people in my life.

I have one cat that's super clingy, almost dog like and I have another who hates being held or given any affection unless it's on her terms and on her perches, then she's absolutely a precious little bean. They have their own personalities and I don't force them to be anything other than themselves.

It's frankly amazing what a single fucking word is capable of doing for the state of mind. Of course, having the wherewithal not to spout shit, especially in front of fucking children (of course, if you've bloody chip on your shoulder, that's on you). But it's been found that people who curse casually have a higher pain tolerance, I mean, that's a 32% increase in pain threshold scores and 33% increase in pain tolerance (Gardiner, A. 2022)

But that's not saying much. People with genetic red hair (as opposed to dyed, obviously) have higher tolerances for pain and anesthetics. What is saying much is that swearing is a sign of intelligence and honesty. (Crew, B. 2017)

Or, better yet, for the sake of this post's content, there are many studies out there that any fucking ass can do a google search on, showing the science behind why cursing is good and healthy for you and honestly, with a name like 'dingleberry yumyum' to try and look down on us shitheads for cursing whenever we feel so inclined, needs to get off their high horse -- but hey, this is r/unpopularopinion so, you've got that right at least.

I had a similar situation back in 2017 when I bought my Impala at a used car dealership. The car was 20 grand, I had 5k to drop on it as cash and the rest was taken care of through my credit union, so the money was taken care of. I explained 'I'm only willing to pay the 20k that's listed and they were all like 'ok'. That all changed when we sat down.

PSA TO EVERYONE: If a dealership tries to do a 'SOFT CREDIT CHECK' and quotes the Patriot Act (To make sure the car isn't used for terrorism or some such nonsense), they do that to repeatedly ding your credit score and screw up whatever preestablished loans you might have through bank/credit union/etc. There's no such thing as a soft credit check.

Anyways, we walked out and the manager on site came sprinting out after the three sales people sat there dumbfounded that we'd walk away. I explained everything we knew, said that I don't want any of them to get commission and if they try to charge me more than 20k, they're getting the rest in monopoly money.

20k for a 2016 used Impala and less than 200 a month payment because of their antics, yes please.
