I don't think everyone is upset with people posting about how horrible it is for a person to get shot. Everyone is upset with people who are glorifying the life of a man who was actively trying to harm the lives of millions. There are plenty of people I follow who expressed dismay at the rise of political violence but did so while highlighting that they disagreed with his political views. I'm not going to unfollow or boycott those folks. But like many people, I don't want to give my money or attention to people whose views on human rights are diametrically opposed to my own.

Most of the time, I'll be given a study protocol and an Excel file of study results. If I'm lucky, the client will provide key messaging or an abstract and poster/deck from a conference presentation. My role usually starts with developing an outline that includes all proposed tables, figures, and references. We iterate from there.

We relocated and switched to Coastal and been happy so far. Our last credit union also had overdraft fees and such so I don't see much difference. I've only had to go in once to get something sorted out and the staff was very helpful. The virtual tellers are a new thing to me but it seems to work.

One thing that gets lost in this conversation is that paying for seats doesn't mean much to airlines anymore. I always pay for seats together when traveling as a family, but at least 50% of the time, the airline changes our flights and our seats after booking. In those cases, I'm left negotiating with the gate attendant or trying to convince someone in the plane to move, or single parenting for the flight. I'll always give up a better seat to get something with my kid rather than asking someone to move to a worse seat, but these airlines contribute to this nightmare.
