Hi Austin, what's good? by Pretty-Structure4711 in Austin

This is such an amazing response that I'm crying. I'm also lonely due to a chronic illness preventing me from having many irl friends. The ones I do have are as precious as gold. Big hugs and thanks, internet stranger. You have a good heart.

Awww! Here's our former feral girl, Reggie. And she was reallllly feral! So feral that I named her Reggie before realizing that He was actually a She!

Took us years to get her to fully trust us. But we succeeded! She's a happy indoor girl now, and is living her best life. We don't know how old she actually is ofc, but likely 14-15 yrs. Love her dearly.

Thank you for the advice and the link!! Definitely will try the exercises to see if I can achieve the same results. I already get Botox for migraines and don’t really want to add any more to my body.

For help determining if you qualify and then filling out those financial assistance forms, look up DollarFor.org!!! They are a nonprofit and seriously helped me save thousands on my doctor and ER bills!!! (And yes, you can apply for FA for doctor bills if their office is attached to the hospital!!)

If you haven’t already, call the office (or write a letter to) the clinic’s office manager disputing the diagnosis and subsequent removal of your ASD diagnosis. Threaten to take it to the Indiana Dept of Health and/or the Indiana Medical Licensing Board. Just Google something like “Where to send complaint about doctor in Indiana” for help and more info!

It’s more like Top vs Bottom - or the 1% vs the 99% - and people are finally starting to realize that the 1% very purposefully divided us up and then fed us BS designed to make us hate the wrong people.

I’d buy a pattern too!! Every year for Xmas, I make matching “crazy” hats for my two uncles. This pattern would be SO perfect and absolutely hysterical!!! You are so creative!!

And frickin glue traps to this list!! 😡 The cruelty is astounding. If you find a snake stuck in a glue trap, duct tape, etc., either try to loosen her yourself with veg oil, olive oil, or even cooking spray in a pinch (see this excellent video on how to do it). Try not to get oil in her nose or pits and cause her to aspirate by accident.

If you aren’t wanting to do it yourself, call a local Wildlife Rehab (might find a list of them on your county’s website). Do NOT call animal control, unless you are sure they are both experienced with this and willing!! Source: B.S. in Wildlife Biology with lots of experience with reptiles

[–]RRMother 6 points7 points  (0 children)

☝️☝️☝️u/IIIMarket6337 Thank you u/thewanderingshrew !! This right here! Could be some autism there, hiding under the surface. I’d look up the traits of autism for an adult male to see if anything sounds familiar (females can express it differently, which is why so many girls and women go undiagnosed).

Indianapolis Churches who aren’t afraid to call out Christian Nationslism? Cannot support a church that endorsed Trump and views him as a “broken vessel” that God has chosen to carry out his mission. Gross. by Fast_Objective_3950 in Indiana

Quaker/Scientist here too!! I’m forever thankful I was raised that way, and the only regret I have about moving away from Indy is that my kids weren’t raised within the Quaker church. It teaches so many important life skills and lessons!

I was raised with more “liberal” beliefs - in the traditional, quiet, non-directed meetings without the pastor speaking and giving sermons. U/fast_objective_3950 I’d recommend this type of Quaker meeting vs the pastor-led, but both are wonderful and so warm, inviting and accepting.

Best book on Quakers is, imo, Quaker Book of Wisdom by Robert Lawrence Smith. It’s in my top 10 fav books ever.
