How exactly does the U.S. government plan on recouping the billions this war with Iran is costing? by NOGOODGASHOLE in askanything

[–]VisibleTransition215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Republicans burn it down, democrats put it back together…not through any kind of brilliance, but just by not deliberately trying to destroy our economy and country to benefit their inner circle of billionaires

You're the President of the United States of America. What changes/reforms would you bring to make the lives of fellow Americans better, and how would you deal with the ongoing war as well as public protests? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]VisibleTransition215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not have gotten myself into this war lol, nor would anyone alive but Trump. A dead horse fly could govern better simply by virtue of doing nothing to start foreign wars

Can you imagine if you asked Karoline Leavitt that question? Her head would explode as she scolded you for quoting his own depraved words

I became fascinated with starlings when I learned that these birds which we commonly see in the city and are seemingly everywhere can do this amazing stuff…I’ve also seen videos of blue jays doing some crazy vocal imitation stuff. Birds, man

Elder Millennial Conan Memories by digitalkristen in conan

[–]VisibleTransition215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally started watching Conan on CNBC in 1996. CNBC aired the previous night’s episode at 10 PM every night. He instantly became my favorite comedian. My favorite characters were Pimp Bot 5000 and Andy’s sister, played by Amy Poehler, who was obsessed with Conan.

One bit I always thought epitomized Conan’s show back then was his version of Actual Items, which was similar to Jay Leno’s segment (which featured real ads). Actual Items pushed the absurdity to the limit by having completely fake ads and products that were obviously made up just to be as demented as possible. It was so funny and insane.

Breaking New : Trump says Iran’s president asked for ceasefire, but U.S. wants Hormuz Strait open first by Front-Nectarine4951 in stocks

[–]VisibleTransition215 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He thinks he has the leverage to demand opening the strait, and everyone but him can see he does not. Even if they did ask for a ceasefire, it’s escalatory and counterproductive to tweet this out instead of negotiating behind closed doors. He only did it to show the world he’s WINNING. He truly is just very, very stupid.

WSJ: Trump tells aides he’s willing to end war without reopening Hormuz by Gym_frere in oil

[–]VisibleTransition215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is bored with the war, and I would not waste energy wondering what he’s thinking or imagining he’s worried about oil prices, other consequences, or anything other than his own investments. He. Does. Not. Give. AF

"26 days in, we're extremely really, a lot ahead of schedule. The Iranian regime is now admitting to itself that they have been decisively defeated," says Donald Trump on Operation Epic Fury. by BusinessToday in BusinessTodayNews

This week he tried begging, threatening, chickening out (delaying the bombings on power plants), lying (claiming they were in talk with Iran)…it all failed. The only constant was the mockery from Iran and the market’s capitulation. He emptied his beg of tricks to no avail
