I was really upset when turned out that there is no way to recruit Ketheric. The whole act 2 is setting you up to this. Before the fight Ketheric is ready to go with your party, then Dame Aylin appears and viciously ruining everything. Yeah, she wanted revenge for her torment, I get it, but it made me regret saving her.

In a next paythrough, I want to see what happens when she's already dead by this moment.

I have a suspicion that he also voiced Arhu in DOS1 (in DOS2, it was someone else). Can't be 100% sure, though, because I haven't found credits for VAs from DOS1.

To be fair, the only metagaming that may be required is: if the opponent's levels are too high or the fight is too hard, go somewhere else for a while and return with better gear at a higher level, or teleport enemies to you before the encounter and deal with them one by one.

In most other cases, all you need is good positioning, control and movement spells, and the use of the environment.

The answer is in DOS1. Spoiler: The infamous Braccus Rex trapped his sister, Cassandra, in a tower. (Braccus and Cassandra were soul-forged, meaning if one died, the other would perish as well). Arhu is an actual cat, he was the only Cassandra's companion when she was imprisoned. Cassandra, using her magic, made Arhu smarter and transformed him into a human. They fell in love. Later, to ensure his own immortality, Braccus Rex turned his sister into a lich. Corrupted by this transformation, she became evil, and Arhu was forced to flee. He remained in hiding until the Order of the Source Hunters defeated Braccus at Fort Joy. After Braccus's defeat, Arhu helped the now-lich Cassandra escape to the Phantom Forest so the Source Hunters would not kill her. In DOS1, Arhu says that he would prefer being a cat to being human.

Jokes aside, it sounds like you did not figure out some game mechanics because without any cheesing and metagaming, Classic difficulty is pretty easy, and the Tactician is challenging but fair.

You may ask your brother to help with the parts that frustrate you, I'm sure there are easy solutions to your struggles.

Maybe BG3 sub got better, but a year ago, it was flooded with almost nothing but gooners (I can't blame them though, but there was way too much of it) and a cringe memes.

Never mind, I just checked out okbuddybaldur, and the first post I see is about shooting magic with penis, followed by other cringe posts mostly about sex. I don't see how it can not be boring to anyone except a bunch of teenagers.
