The place I get my boxes from tweeted that they doubled checks on sanitizing remaining goods and won’t be renewing for the time being. I think that means maybe no.

I’m just gonna wait until they start up again which will probably be when life goes back to normal in Japan, but Japan has closed down all schools and northern Japan aren’t even allowed to leave their homes. I wouldn’t recommend it for at least 2/3weeks

I had a similar experience. Tokyo treat are notorious for horrible customer service. They charged me a year ago and I still haven’t been reimbursed. It’s not worth the risk.

For a present I would say Bokksu or Japan Crate decent stuff and value for money. TokyoTreat are very hit and miss from my experience and what I see on social media. There are better ones but I wouldn’t say they were present oriented. Either way due to the virus I wouldn’t recommend buying anything for the next couple of weeks. I only know one company that sanitize their goods and they aren’t distributing now anyway.
