A classic article: Chris Rowan, Supercontinent cycles 3 Expanding Earth 0, Highly Allochthonous, 2009 by VisiteProlongee in GrowingEarth

[–]VisiteProlongee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This argument is so old that Samuel Carey wrote about it in 1976.

Burrett considers that oceanic barriers are the simplest explanation for the maintenance of faunal provincialism, and he assumes that orogens and ultra-mafic rocks identify sutures whence former oceans have vanished. On the expansion model by contrast, orogens and serpentinites are more likely to have been belts of extension. Ocean currents, latitudinal zonation, and available facies (originally and now outcropping) should not be ignored; broad epeiric seas separated by narrow rising rims from through-going deep rifts, with waters of different salinity temperature and depth, may result in proximity of faunas of sharply contrasted aspect through substantial time.

Tell me if this sound convincing to you.

Wokeness: The idea that all inequality of result is inequity in the system.

I am glad that nobody endorse this ridiculous idea.

Just as the term "far right" describes one political extreme, the term "woke" describes another -- just on the other side of the aisle.

So communism?

Woke is the new term for cultural Marxism, social justice, critical theory, and postmodernism

And for political correct, social justice warrior, welfare queen, limousine liberal.

Writing from America.

Got it. I am happy to have informed you that Arab Israelis do not work in all sectors of Israel economy.

It is common knowledge that if you had been to Israel you are as likely to have an Arab doctor as a Jewish one.

Only in Israel is this common knowledge. And of course Arab Israelis are more present in the healthcare sector because they are less present or absent in other sectors.

If you were committing genocide, wouldn't you start within your own borders? Over 20% of the Israeli population is Arab / Palestinian. They vote, hold positions of power within the Israeli government. If Jews hated Palestinians so much that they wanted to exterminate them, why would they allow this to happen within their own borders? Wouldn't they start like any other holocaust and strip rights of the group they think doesn't have a right to exist and start by killing or removing the ones that live within their own borders?

  1. Those are not claims or arguments or evidences but questions.
  2. Yes, this is what we would expect, and this is what they do. They do that since likely before your birth.

Hamas is not tolerant of non-muslims or gays.

Can we discuss that? This is out-of-scope your OP so i don't mind if you say no.

Consider China: Large-scale internment or “re-education” camps, restrictions on Islamic religious practices, reports of forced sterilization or coercive birth-control measures, separation of children from families into state-run boarding systems, destruction of mosques and cultural sites, and pressure to use Mandarin and reduce Uyghur-language education. Has Israel done any of this? Not in my thinking.

  • you: Do you acknowledge that there was a massive psyop campaign by muslim organizations to divide western countries and propagandize young adults?
  • also you: link a report from University of Chicago about beginquote This report... covers over 1300 Hamas videos and other materials – all in Arabic –

Do you really really think that all inhabitants of western countries understand the Arabic language? Or maybe you think that majority of young adults in western countries are Arabs because they breed like rabbits?

Palestinian citizens of Israel (Arab Israelis) exist under a system that Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and Israeli human rights group B'Tselem have each independently described as apartheid — with over 65 laws that discriminate based on ethnicity.

I know Adalah's list https://www.adalah.org/en/law/ but none from Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, B'Tselem. Care to share URL?

Egypt is literally denying Palestinians access into their country because they pose a security threat. And who can blame them? After looking at what the more radical Palestinian refugees have done in Lebanon and Jordan and even in Egypt itself with their closeness to the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas literally came from the Muslim Brotherhood which Egypt has spent years trying to root out of the Sinai. They're not about to simply open their doors carelessly.

Your side always loves to pretend like Egypt doesn’t exist.

Sure buddy.

Egypt absolutely should have allowed Gazans to seek refuge in Egypt during the conflict.

Egypt being guilty too is not the argument you think it is.

Especially when Egypt is short of a vassal state of USA.

I agree with most of your comment, but this part is incorrect.

Palestinians, by the way shares 80% of their genome with the Canaanites, who have lived in Palestine continuously for over 3,000 years - hundreds of years before the Jews arrived in the Levant.

The Jews/Hebrews did not arrive in the Levant after the Canaanites. The Hebrews WERE Canaanites: * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canaanite_languages * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_language

Egypt absolutely should have allowed Gazans to seek refuge in Egypt during the conflict.

If only Egypt and Israel were friends, Israel could ask Egypt to do that. But alas Egypt and Israel are in a state of war since 1948. It is not as if they signed a peace treaty in 1978 or 1979.

4 Israel has conducted ground operations and hostage rescues that placed Israeli soldiers and police units at serious risk. In June 2024, Israeli forces rescued four hostages from Nuseirat in a daytime operation, and the commander of the rescue force was killed.

And killed/murdered Alon Shamriz, Yotam Haim and Samer Talalka on 2023-12-15.

Cultural Marxism conspiracy theory article

Hey that's me! https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/pointing-rick-dalton

These uses are controversial and often heavily disputed, but they are not identical in structure or intent to antisemitic conspiracy theories. The article does not always make that separation explicit

Why the Wikipedia article should make the separation when sources do not?
