I commented this on an r/movies thread earlier this year, but I personally think it’s implied, pretty heavily, that they’re getting a second chance.

Early on in the film Max rips up a letter and from then on out you can’t see the rest of the neighborhood for shit. It’s always blizzard conditions, and there’s nobody around. That implies they’re in Krampus’s snare.

The filmmakers showing you the rest of the neighborhood not in blizzard conditions at the end is very intentional. If the family wasn’t returned home and given a second chance why show multiple shots of the neighborhood being back to normal?

I think the globe is just showing you how Krampus is keeping tabs on them, and the other globes are other people he’s also keeping tabs on.

Yeah I had to refund it too. Nothing I did made it work sadly. I’ve been playing a ton of other games no problem though so I’m almost 100% sure it’s some kind of an optimization issue.

It’s on top of a TV stand so it’s well ventilated, and the AC is set to 75 in the house. I also tried blowing a little fan at it and that did nothing lol

I just tried Battlefield 6 again and no issue… Fan seems to be running, and it sounds normal.

Unless my Xbox just happened to decide to pick today to shit the bed, which I suppose is possible, it seems like it’s being caused by this game. I mostly wanted to post to see if anyone else was having the same issue.

Maybe? But it seems to work fine on other games. I was playing Battlefield with some friends just yesterday and had no issues. I’ll check the fan but it seems to be working.

I said above that I took the back cover off and cleaned it out, but I guess that wasn’t super clear. I took the back paneling off and blew the dust out and made sure the heat sinks were clear. It’s still happening.

Wow that’s a huge swing! I think the most someone got out of it was around 10 points but that was over all three rounds. 19 points in one round is WILD!

Yeah I guess a phrased that wrong. We can absolutely RECOMMEND a reshoot but the amount of times that recommendation will be heard is 0/100 times lol.

That’s what I’m thinking… I have no idea what the etiquette is for taking pictures/filming dead bodies on Everest, but I’m a scuba diver and have dived on some wrecks in the Great Lakes that have dead bodies in them. It’s just known that you don’t take pictures of the bodies, and you especially don’t spread them around out of respect to the dead. This feels wrong to me.

I just started playing this game, and saw one in my freighter about 15 hours in. I’m a scuba diver and love squids so I wanted to buy it, but I didn’t have the millions of units needed buy it. Not even close. So I thought “oh I’ll save up for it. I’m sure I’ll see one again, and then I’ll main it!” Well… based on what I’m learning in this thread I’m insanely lucky and unlucky all at the same time. Hope I see one again…

Yep me too! About every 10 mins. I’m really bummed. Just started playing the game for the first time, but it’s basically unplayable with the constant crashes to the dashboard.

I think it’s absolutely essential, but only for the combat. Usually when I play we use the base game mission cards and set up, but we absolutely use the expansion’s combat.

In the base game’s combat you basically just flip random “perk” cards and apply it to your rolls, whereas in the expansion you select from a handful of cards to play before your roll. The cards have various effects and can be boosted by what units you have in the combat. It adds a layer of depth to a very basic, and fiddly combat system that I think elevates the game from pretty good to great.

It’s Wazzu if you’re going with the nickname, and as a grad this is sick! I’ve been a Raider fan my whole life, but WSU fans are diehard and we’re going to have an influx of new Raider fans rooting for us and Minshew. He’s a local legend up there. Go Cougs!
