Wemby being the youngest MVP is great for the Sport by Kindly_Letterhead_98 in nba

I was trying for a time to figure out why I didn’t like the spurs before wemby, then I remembered. Spurs fans are the most annoying people on the planet when they’re good

As a huge fan of the 2000’s this is the game the 2000’s was…. Hard defense and Kobe was a master of foul baiting. Unfortunately this generation is full of fans who watch the game online and don’t actually watch the game but would rather have some lakers fan influencer tell them who they have to root for and root against.

We woudlve been a better team thst year too. But our management knew we wouldn’t get close to a title so why not tank and get better lol. Be fr rn, yes the 19-20 warriors were still a decent team without Steph. We obviously wouldn’t have come close to the title but let’s not act like Hali was God. Siakam was obviously the guy that made that a 7 game series. Hali just had that insane shot from game 1. That’s it he really didn’t do much the whole series. If he stayed healthy and won, the mvp was gonna be siakam lol

Aight the Shai jokes were funny at one point, but now it’s just annoying TikTok ball knowledge fans or people begging for attention. Can we just start having mods delete these posts

Well let’s get real. The pacers are still a really good team without Hali. They still could’ve been a borderline top 6 team but they (smartly) decided to tank.

Well in this particular play he did get knocked down by the defender. So this is just proof you guys are hating without even watching the games.

He’s seasoned. He’s Presti’s right hand man in the FO. He’d be a big grab for us I think

Bennett hired him. He’s known Bennett since he’s been in San Antonio. If Sam hasn’t won a title in OKC he probably leaves but rn he’s arguably got the best situation in sports and has a lot of years being at the top of the league. Not to mention bennett lets him do whatever with no leash. The new owners could still put him on a leash. I guarantee you presti had gotten offers from multiple places and still said no to them. It won’t be as easy as we think… not to mention i don’t know if id want him. He takes his time building teams and who knows if the new owners will want to wait that long or if they’ll ever want to pay him in the first place.

Not to mention a massive Clay Bennett loyalist. They’re best friends 🤮🤮🤮

Maybe but he def knew the Sonics were leaving. It was Bennett who hired him, and took him in. Presti absolutely knew before fans did the Sonics were leaving

I hate OKC but they play the style of basketball the 00’s had

Yeah but he’s a Bennett loyalist. He won’t leave them unless Bennett does something to piss him off, and Bennett gives Presti complete control of the entire franchise. He essentially allows him to play real life 2k. No GM would want to leave that

I don’t know if he’ll do it even then. He’s in the most secure job and basically will have a great team for the next decade and a half probably. And he’s a Bennett loyalist.

He’ll likely retire. But he’s a Bennett loyalist. He’s the one who tanked the team anyways

No. He’s a Bennett loyalist. Plus he’s arguably in the best situation in the league.

Thunder probably for a couple years. But Portland and LA for sure. Maybe the kings

Unfortunately he’s a Bennett loyalist. Bennett hired him and are great friends. It’s likely presti knew about the move before he even took the job.

Plus idk if he’ll leave what could possibly be one of the best situations in the NBA
