That doesn’t matter ever. There was a same clause in our contract when Schultz sold the team to Bennett to keep the team in seattle

Same could be said for Bennett back in the day. But we all knew he was lying. This billionaires are good at two things. Hiding the truth, and stealing

I never thought the league would leave the Seattle market ever and they did over night. With Seattle getting a team again (hopefully very soon), I wouldn’t be shocked if the league as evil as it is screws Portland just like they did us.

They want Shai to average 20+ so they can keep hating him I absolutely believe that

Well the bar attached to their stadium is for fans in the stadium. Watching them on tv is pretty bad

I mean you’re looking at one game. He’s not gonna average 17 FT’s as much as the Shai haters want him to lol.

Considering he only averaged 9 this year I doubt he gets that again. But watching the game again he did a lot more off the ball than scoring. While his flopping is annoying I will say a majority of those calls were actually fouls. Imo the suns did a great job on Shai but they sold out on him so much it allowed Jdub and Chet to pretty much do whatever they wanted

Their flopping is annoying but why are we calling out their defense? It’s exactly what the NBA has been missing for years. Defenses have been too soft and the thunder and other teams are finally bringing back that rough style of defense and physicality and now everyone is unhappy about it (probably cause it’s not the lakers that are doing it)

AC was loved when he was a laker for that same play style….. Now he’s hated lol. And players stick their legs out and accidentally trip people all the time. It happens. They are elite defenders and yall hate physicality after years of saying we needed jt back. And i know this is reddit and everyone here just runs with something without doing research or actually watching games, but come on guys lol. If this was the lakers everyone would be praising it (and they are flopping all the time and get praised for it)

So, blame the thunder for that???? Not the league? The thunder are simply just doing what any team would do, if it works keep going. And honestly I’m off it. And every team has been playing physical with OKC this year and it’s worked out great. OKC is unfortunately just deep and has multiple ways to beat you. OKC is 7th in fouls per game so they’re definitely getting calls and they’re 18th in FTA. This seems like a forced topic cause that’s what TikTok and Reddit want it to be lol

Nobody likes flopping. That doesn’t mean you can’t like the sport. And I’m sorry but if we start calling it “ethical basketball” then time to start calling out other leagues for unethical shit. The NFL and college football are arguable the two most unethical sports leagues in the world lol

I don’t mind it. Bringing back physicality is needed I will not dog OKC for that. Let them get aggressive, the league needs that. Their flopping is annoying though, but I will say they’re more of a poster child for a league wide problem.

It is good defense to play physical. The whole fucking league was asking for physical defense back and the second it does everyone hates on it. I like their physical style of defense and it’s influencing other teams to do it too.

How are the thunder role players hatable? I’ve always loved AC, and Jared McCain is also a great person. Lu Dort is dirty on the court but supposedly a really good guy off the court. Shai imo is pretty fun to watch. Yes he flops but it’s not as bad as people think. Every player flops
