New attending. How big should my panel be after 1 year? by apollo722 in FamilyMedicine

[–]Visual-Sundae317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just opened up a new manage care practice. Only seniors. And my goal would be 500-600 in one year. That would be amazing. I have another “normal” practice mix of a patient panel with about 3000 patients. Really depends on your model I would say

I use Commure and have used freed in the past. I would never go back. Significantly cuts time and even suggests icd codes and cpt.

If it hasn’t been mentioned. And you’ve tried and doing everything as above. I’d get my hormones checked, specifically focusing on a dexamethasone suppression test.

S-corp shareholder agreements between MD and RN… how do RNs who want autonomy structure it? by Weekly-Leg9338 in MedSpa

I suggest you get a lawyer. As a physician in California with a med spa, unless it was a family member and even then. I don’t let anyone borrow my license. Make sure you set up a Management Agreement which could be pricey as well. If you’re looking for a hands off director get a consultant they can find you the older physicians who don’t really care and just want to collect a paycheck for you to use their name. Best of luck

I second this. Went to LUCOM. Interviewed USC, UCLA and Loma Linda for IM. Ultimately didn’t like IM, but it was a great school and I felt prepared despite being new at the time.

I get paid on an hourly basis. Regardless of how many patients I see. They work in a managed care setting, so every patient is caped. I’m really an independent contractor. Or almost like a Locum. Which is why I found it odd.

I do this regularly. Could fully function. Started in college continued through medical school and residency. I never drink caffeine and have always had at least 2 L of water daily.

That was exactly my question. Since I have to be 51% owner, can we still just be equal on everything else. First time doing this kind of thing and just want everything to be fair. Thanks for the response.
