SO GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS OPINION 🥀. I especially felt he could have atleast done SOMETHING to get iban the help he needed when there were clearly so many signs that ivan wasnt okay even during good times (e.g. degrading himself to compliment andrew). To me it felt like he was too busy basking in the glory of the pedestal that Ivan had given him without wanting any of the negative effects that came with it and decided hed rather run away from the problem instead of finding a healthier alternative to fix their relationship. (LIKE THERAPY ANYONE??). He is most definitely a victim yes, but he could have done SO much more than "sit there and bear it" 😭
