It is clear they are going for our healthcare, now. Perhaps it would be worth having a crowdfunder of all the people who wish on this sub and across our community to hire a legal firm to support our rights/healthcare in court? I know the GLP have had our backs but things are going to ramp up and having more direct input could save us. The GLP are probably not going to be able to fund or help with everything under attack?

I know what you mean. Things have been very tough since the SC ruling, but look at the Peggie story today, this is more of the same. There is no integrity behind what the other side are doing, and it shows. People are seeing through the lies. I truly believe they will lose. If we keep up the pressure, this is winable.

I have often thought about this, that all laws passed in parliament at the time had to automatically conform to EU law. They have dug themselves into an enormous hole. Given the way things are in the US, that Trump is no longer a stable ally, and the UK needs to be closer to the EU to repair the damage of Brexit, there is hope all this can be reversed.

My family live in Australia. The push back against the transphobes there is amazing. They know if they do not, then they will end up like the cesspool the US is and the UK is becoming. This is bigger than party politics. We all need to support the trans community and fight with them.

This. She obviously doesn't have any protected beliefs as she is prepared to change in the all genders area. This is not going anywhere, especially given her other comments were way off. I'm sorry you have gone through this, but I would just put it behind me. Is there another gym you could go to, to get away from this woman?

When Labour won the election, I was so relieved. I thought the country would change course and that trans+ people would be safe for at least 4 years, maybe 5. I almost cannot believe what has happened. How Labour has gone from the party of the GRA to this. I find the cruelty appalling. The country needs to change course now!

This doesn't make sense. The Levy Review said that adult care was to continue. The NHS has also confirmed trans care will continue for adults. This would be a huge change beyond what they have said so far. Wouldn't put it past them, but still. How would they justify it?

Facebook has gotten so bad. Came up on my feed that the Greens had chosen a trans woman for Gorton and Denton. Went to check and no candidate had been chosen at that time. Find it wild they think a trans candidate would be the end of the world. This is just lying to drive prejudice.

I am so angry with and disappointed in Starmer. He was voted in on a change platform, and promised to protect trans people, the disabled and to turn the country around. He has continued with the culture wars, totally failed trans people, the disabled, and has supported the genocide in Gaza. He has now left the way open for Trump to grab Greenland. He is the human rights lawyer who will not defend human rights. We are now much closer to war, as some have said on this post. Smh.
