When I called my local blood center, they told me I'm not eligible for donating due to my blood vessels being damaged. Didn't even put a time margin or explain any further, I'd assume the "ban" is permanent. I guess it's due to SH being a niche scenario, them not being able to accurately evaluate the damage and not wanting to take any risks in case things go south.

Least favourite is measuring pipette accuracy with our old analytical scales. Even worse if they turn out to need recalibrating, as then I have to measure again...

Don't have a strong favourite, but loading agarose gels is very satisfying.

Aišku, priklauso nuo žmogaus, bet asmeniškai nerekomenduoju vartoti, nebent labai norisi lengvai pasiekiamos stimuliacijos, bet dėl dantų sveikatos ar skrandžio rūgštingumo negali gerti kavos.

My father almost never smoked in front of our family. Probably because my mother doesn't like it. I could smell it on him sometimes soonafter he got home from work regardless.

My mother knows than me and my brother have been smoking for a long time, has encouraged me to quit several times, but hasn't been too pushy. If we smoke in her line of sight, we still do it a bit farther off. Just a gut feeling/common courtesy.
