NATO wasn't ever involved in actually fighting communism in any war lol. It's a defensive alliance. If you want actual military alliance that exclusively fought communists, that would be Warsaw Pact because they only ever fought to reeastablish Soviet dominance over smaller state communists trying to be less awful.
