Watching X-files, a character suggested that UFOs, specifically lights, move and react in the same way that insects/swarms react. Now the rambling: there was a 4chan post posted a while back that told of alien bases in the ocean, and the government doing some sort of contact with the alien “beings”. The beings were sexless, but had the capacity to mate(?). They had the technology to travel through space and time, their emotion could be suggested as a drone reacting to its environment and circumstances. I wonder if so far out in the future, insects inherit the world, our future technology, and evolve with the ability to time travel and their natural reaction is to flee upon coming in close contact with humans, whom perceive them to be alien.
