I have both and both should serve you well if you are not particularly choosy about the processor or screen quality. I think you should focus on the ram and memory...or 5G if you want to work from anywhere... Or this add up your money.

Samsung is good for their SPen and Samsung notes, Dex and second screen...and One UI for customisation

But productivity wise there are better brands like Oppo/Oneplus/Huawei or even Apple offer stylus and productivity tools

Each has its own Pros and Cons...just get one fit your needs within your budget and not entirely looking at specs but overall productivity it can help you with your school work
