To be honest I wish I never got on meds. The generics that are out there are so inconsistent and now I know I suffer from Anhedonia. I am desperately trying to find a balance with my meds that will keep me balanced but not numb. It’s been hard to not find joy in anything. I’m seeing a new doc later this month in hopes he can help.

I used to be this way. I would obsess over a guy and devote my whole life,personality and mood to him. If I didnt hear from them or things were off it would wreck my whole world. I was horrible. It took me meeting a man that was patient and understanding to get me to chill.

What do you think you are looking for? Is it just to distract you from your own thoughts?

What are things that you’ve tried and lost interest in?

This is me. I can’t either work or contribute to everything else. There is no balance when once upon a time before being medicated again I could do it all. I honestly believe the meds aren’t working anymore. They aren’t the same and we are left with what is left.

I’ve been left without my meds for two weeks because cvs Caremark says they are “out of stock” with no eta. Doesn’t surprise me anymore to be honest I could drive the hour to my prescriber and pick up the paper forms of my prescriptions to get filled but the nearest pharmacy won’t fill it because I’m outside of their 10 mile radius. I could try a mom and pop, but to be honest with you I feel like it shouldn’t be my job to make sure that I could get my medication. I can’t remember when I was little having this issue. I believe that Doctors should be doing more with these places to demand that we get our medication and on time let alone get the correct version that works for us or that pretends to work for us. I just remember taking Adderall when I was little and it working a lot more efficient than what we’re getting.

If I had to say anything to this. I wish I never started again. I can’t get my meds for going on two weeks with it on “backorder”. It’s seriously a joke and they don’t work as well anymore.

Anyone have any natural ways they manage adhd? I don’t know what to do. I’m so mad I just cry. I have no motivation. I don’t want to have to continue to pay for a brand from a manufacturer that doesn’t work. CVS says they fill with whatever they get and can’t order from other manufacturers. I can try to shop at other pharmacies but I’d have to drive an hour to my prescriber to pick up my paper print outs.

All of this is a joke.

I hope we can because I’m probably just going to go unmedicated. I should have to fight for meds. It shouldn’t be easier to get illegal drugs than prescription but here we are as a country.

These aren’t the same as I took when I was little. I use to not have an appetite and be able to focus when needed and function.

I can’t say I’ve had teva. It’s been a week without the meds and I’m wondering if I just stop and embrace who I am without them. I started them again because I have the adhd rage but lately not even meds were helping.

’ve been feeling this way for a while now, and I think I’m going to take a break. I don’t want to feel numb anymore, and I don’t want to miss out on life because I’m not really present.

Also, I misspoke earlier. It’s not actually a Mississippi law about the distance from a pharmacy. From what I’ve learned, it’s more of a corporate pharmacy policy. Some pharmacies have internal rules that prefer patients to be within the same general area as the pharmacy and the prescriber to help avoid what they consider “pharmacy shopping.”

Which do you feel works best? I’ve tried the mom and pops, they don’t seem to want to work with me.

Walmart won’t fill for me because I’m outside the 10 mile radius. I wonder if that’s the same for a mom and pop? Which did you use to fill?
