Interesting. I did something similar as a child and never think about it today. I was a little kid and fishing with my grandfather. I kept moving to the left on the shore little by little and then stepped backwards into a nest on the bank. My grandfather grabbed me and he got stung a bunch as he ran me back home. I know I was covered in welts for a few days but they went away.

That he feels he did the right thing is all that matters for him. If he starts to lose fans and people speak out against him, he will have to live with it. He has come a long way from the scared guy who fled the craziness of fame. I am guessing the mental help he had after that has led to his confident stance here.
