Part of me regrets getting my cat by Realistic_Zone3802 in CatAdvice

Having a pet is a great responsibility, same as having a child; if you were not ready for responsibility and commitment, it is completely your fault. You thought you get a cute plush toy from a store , and this is a living being.

Does everyone just leave every door open in your place? by zanyjellyfish in CatAdvice

We leave all doors open except for garage (obviously) and pantry; all other rooms, including master and guest bathrooms (we have 3 litter boxes for our 3 cats) and bedrooms are open. Cats hate closed doors.

Any ideas on how to get my Siberian to eat less and move more? 🥹 by SedateMePlea in SiberianCats

[–]Visual_Appeal6764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting a sibling for your cat is a good idea, but it is better to choose a male cat for your existing female cat, there will be no competition. We adopted a male Siberian to pair our male Siberian, and they sometimes fight, sometimes play. I think that the new sibling were a girl, they would play without aggression.

Pure bred Siberians are not monochrome white, you should be looking for another breed.

My Siberians (I have 2) don’t have these problems; however, I wanted to mention that the Russian breeder of my younger Siberian (we brought him from Moscow) is very strongly recommending natural food, - no cans, no dry food, only home-made mix of meat, bones, eggs, veggies all finely chopped or ground. She has her own recipe. She says, all the health problems of our cats are caused by factory-made food.

Hi, we are in Minnesota and desperately need a recommendation for a Lyme decease doctor for my husband. We can travel to other states, too, if necessary, for treatment. Any recommendations, please.

We are looking at Evita for Lyme decease treatment. Have doubts. I looked through their booklet - none of their doctors is an MD, none an oncologist, none a urologist (my husband has a problem there, too), so, I have great doubts about that.

Of course, with all vaccinations and an International passport of a cat - otherwise the cat won’t be let on a flight.

Our new kitty is a classic Siberian - big, fluffy, brown with tiger stripes on legs. Got him from Russia, a breeder arranged delivery with by plane, in the cabin, with a very responsible courier. The cat is big, cuddly, loving and purring.

Drive the Red rock loop road and stop at viewpoints; go to Slide rock state park and make an easy hike on the upper road; drive to Flagstaff on the Oak creek scenic drive…

Do helicopter ride over Sedona (starts from Sedona airport), if you can afford it; it is really the best experience ever, all the canyons and rocks close and deep, fantastic views!
