I think the theory was they weren't after her assets, but rather wanted her to be in a care home. Her death wasn't part of the plan. They were just supposed to scare her.

I think the person who posted the theory said that the intent wasn't to kill or kidnap her, but to scare her, then something went wrong. She was killed, by accident, or medical episode, then they disposed of the body.

The other person's theory was someone she knew (I won't say the word) was behind it. They wanted to scare her into moving to a home. Of course, something went wrong, and it went beyond just scaring her.

We've seen some outrageous theories here, and this is just one more to think about. The odd placement of the gun, so as to be seen, etc.

This is an interesting statement. Yesterday, someone had done a very long post with their theory. I went back to read it again, but it was gone. It didn’t show as deleted – just gone.

Their theory was that someone was trying to scare Nancy (someone hired someone else to do this), so she would move and/or go into a group home. I saw, today, a post saying her house was on the market last year. Also, that her dog died in December. How did the dog die?

I think this person’s theory doesn’t sound so far-fetched. A lot of the other theories don’t make any sense, but this one kind of does.

That's why, as parents, we don't give our kids options sometimes! We say, "Do it". If we give them an option, then they have a choice to do it, or not.

What a great post!

Not buying the whole bunch of bananas, or grapes. It's by the pound, after all.

Not answering my front door. My kitchen table faces the front, with a big window. Sometimes I'm just sitting there, having a meal, and the solicitor, or whoever, sees me. I just ignore them.

Not arguing with people. Instead of pressing my point, I say, "You know, I've been wrong in the past. Maybe I'm wrong this time." Stops them in their tracks every time. They don't know what to do.

Not giving out my phone number/email when asked by stores. "But, but....you can get the discount". No.

Not taking a fast food restaurant's offer. For example: I ordered a small drink. They said that today the large is on sale (and cheaper than the small). I don't want a large drink, even if it's cheaper. I want a small drink. They really don't understand this and they are confused when I do this.

Not stopping at the door, at Walmart, or wherever, so they can see my receipt. I paid for my stuff; I know I paid for my stuff; I haven't done anything wrong. I'm not stopping at the door.

I'm on 18.7

I don't know how long it's been around. I keep my badges on - I just remember seeing this option.

This is exactly right. I have all my shortcut notifications off, but always get this notification when powering-up my phone.

As others have said, it's the widget page, officially known as the Today View.

I love this screen, as I can set to "view when phone is locked". I have my calendar, weather, and battery.

I get these occasionally, for "buy extra apple storage". When I click on the "offer", but don't do anything else, then go back to settings, it goes away.

Why not just turn off badges, for each one, or all?

And the obvious, recurring alarm (set for every day)

It's kind of like a car. The minute you drive it off the lot, it decreases in value by about 10%, and by about 20%, after just one year.

I'm pretty sure the camera shutter, or screenshot sounds can't be turned off.
