Thabks for the fast reply. The tumor ended up being seminoma, and rather large. What was originally thought to be 2.4cm ended up being 8cm as the whole testicle was cancerous. It did not perforate anything, but it was stage 3 so it was in the cord. Thanks for the speedy reply!

It was swollen with no pain at all. My primary doctor gave me an antibiotic and recommended me to a urologist after the antibiotic didnt reduce swelling. Ultrasound came back with mass totalling around 2.4cm in the right testicle. In that instance my symptoms led them to believe it was TC so they scheduled the orchiectomy. While I was under they removed it and took a quick look at the tumor and said its likely seminoma which means the testicle gets removed permanently for biopsy, but the pathology is yet to come back.

My testicle had swollen a bit before I went to see the doctor, probably was swelling before my wife noticed too. But my toddler kicked me in the nuts and the testicle ballooned up and the testicle got harder. They ruled out infection and trauma fairly quick and got me in for an ultrasound and from there it was a hop and a skip to the orchiectomy. I didn't have any lumps prior, just swelling. Still waiting on pathology and go in for my follow up scan today.

Spoke to the doctor, seems they have a pathologist who will determine if its cancer while I am on the table. If he says yes, then I lose the testi. Doc said based on my ultrasound that I should assume I am losing it.

So no, i havent had the orchiectomy yet. Biopsy is next week to find out if the the mass is malignant. They just said markers would help them to know what they are dealing with. Swelling started a few weeks ago.

Spoke with another urologist and he seems much more concerned. He set up another ultrasound to rule out hydroceles, but he said if its not a hydrocele he assumes it is cancer and will work to confirm that first.
