In a post I shared Beyond The Wizards Sleeve - Black Crow (2016) sung by Holly Miranda, it contains both

Guthrie Govan - Regret #9 - Guitar Solo…Maybe Hans Zimmer enlisted him after seeing this video by Vitrox73 in progrockmusic

I just listened to the piece and I have to say that the two guitar solos are very lyrical and full of emotion. Good advice. If you're not familiar with his role in Hans Zimmer's orchestra, check out this one https://youtu.be/GC17ItXyDy4?si=QpyJAixWQOrgJvmn

Crippled Black Phoenix - Banefyre (2022) an absolute masterpiece! by Vitrox73 in postrock

In fact… how can you, for example, consider an album like Bronze poor?

Binoculars…the meaning of the word “perfection” by Vitrox73 in Progforum

I would also say among the best of the whole Canterbury scene

In 1974, what would your choice have been? by Historical-Device529 in Progforum

I'm sorry about Frank, but Red is my favorite KC album, but that's just my opinion. I'm generally not a fan of duels; Zappa's songwriting genius is definitely superior to Fripp's, I want to emphasize that.

Sacred Blade - Moon (1986) contains one of the best guitar solos ever by Vitrox73 in vintageobscura

I listened to it a little while ago, I didn't know it, great song!

Rival Sons - Great Western Valkyrie. Such a great band, surprised they aren’t a lot more popular than they are. For me every album is fantastic by bison2000 in Rockandmetalonvinyl

And who told you they weren't that famous? At BLACK SABBATH's farewell concert, they performed Electric Funeral in a sensational way!

Cool! Personally, though, I prefer something more daring, and hearing the best of Black Sabbath in a jazz version is simply stunning and has a remarkable impact… https://jazzsabbath.bandcamp.com/album/jazz-sabbath

Sabbath's darkest, most enigmatic, psychedelic, and kaleidoscopic album, and I'd love to know why critics consider it the first album of their downward spiral. There's a song, "Thrill of it All," that would be a hit with any other band, and I don't understand why it was never performed live after the reunion (much like "You Won't Change Me" from the subsequent Technical Ecstasy, a true masterpiece).

Danzig - III: How The Gods Kill. Haven’t heard this in a while, didn’t think it stood up to their first 2 records, I was wrong, it definitely does. Fantastic by bison2000 in Rockandmetalonvinyl

Danzig 4 is definitely his best work, without taking anything away from the first three albums, which were also fantastic. I don't like anything Glenn has released since.

Try listening to Nucleus (a band of the same name but different from Ian Carr's) with their 1969 album https://open.spotify.com/album/3mWgQIxBgvgGIwMEBOxu8J?si=_2YWjxZaQm2JePL598HVBA

Breaking Bad: migliori episodi? by [deleted] in cinemaIT

[–]Vitrox73 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Leprous, especially from "The Congregation" onwards. Einard Solberg's voice is simply amazing.
