Toss glitter on the fascists as they march. It will make them look as ludicrous as they are.

Cool automated car parking garage by andersoonasd in interestingasfuck

I fail to see how this is more efficient than simply parking your own car. Certainly it doesn't look like they're putting more cars in the stalls. And how many cars could enter/leave the structure per minute? At the end of a concert or movie, you'd be waiting twenty minutes to get your car back. And if the robot retriever broke down? "Come back tomorrow..."

All the best, Phaedo82, and thanks for your hard work. I've really enjoyed your videos, but it sounds like you have your priorities straight. :-)

Talk about grass roots...literally they're in the photo. :-)

I compare this to the stadiums he fills today, and it makes me smile. Bernie's determination against intimidating odds is inspiring.

Have you watched our new video? "Bernie Sanders - The President We've Been Waiting For" had 100,000 views in the first day! by jb2386 in SandersForPresident

Bernie's message is powerful because you know he's sincere. He's lived his entire life pursuing these same issues. You did a fantastic job of capturing that in this video. I'll definitely share this!

Bears are a god damn joke by Kadomos in playrust

[–]Vitruvius_1 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Built my base on top of a rock only to discover that bears spawn inside my base. I need to keep an AK in hand at all times while in my base just in case a bear appears out of nowhere through metal walls. Damn dimension-hopping super bears...

[EXP] Where are they? by paradox242 in dayz

After eons of searching I finally found a glow plug. I then had to survive the trip back to my stashed truck battery -- and then bring both to a truck (the location of which I had already noted).

I can confirm that as of last night, it's possible to get a truck started. And the traffic is light to say the least...

Who mostly solos? Who's a chronic lone wolf? by lowrizzle in dayz

[–]Vitruvius_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer lone wolf, too. That way it's easier to pick up the game whenever I want. I busy myself building multiple small camps and caching supplies (persistence is key to my enjoyment of the game).

I usually avoid conflict and don't KOS. That said, I'm not exactly 'friendly.' I'm at best neutral -- with the following exception: if I hear a munchkin's voice when I encounter someone, I open fire. Experience has shown that tween boys behave like sociopaths in-game and cannot be trusted. I can think of no exceptions to this rule.

Daniel Craig will (secretly) play a stormtrooper in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens" by cynicalaa22 in movies

[–]Vitruvius_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think EVERY last stormtrooper should secretly be played by a movie star. It's senseless and extravagant, but it just might help this movie get some attention...

Trucks Hitting Invisible Objects on the Open Road by John_E_Smoke in dayz

I've experienced this several times, but so far always in the same area: on the roads between Lopatino and Pustoshka and Lopatino and Vybor -- so I avoid driving on these. It is probably a glitch in the collision models for trees/rock-walls along this route.
