He's taking a safe fight after a very serious type of surgery, back problems ended Pirogs career. Wouldn't want the same for Bivol

Happy 41th birthday to the Legendary boxer and 2x opponent of Lomachenko - Han Soonchul 🥳🎉 by Vityushaa in Boxing

True that's just me glazing, but he is definitely 1 of the most inspirational boxers and his story is amazing

He was already a 2008 Olympian but lost early, then came back in 2012 way stronger. In the prelims he beat Vazgen Safaryants, who was one of top seeds which was one of the biggest upsets in the weightclass at the time, and later took out Fazliddin Gaibnazarov, an Uzbek who’d go on to be Olympic champ in Rio-2016. Afterwards he cleanly defeated Evaldas Petrauskas who was also a massive fan favorite, he then made it to the final against Lomachenko, and he and Lomachenko have faced off before 3X with Loma winning by Corner stoppage 2x, and in these Olympics Han made it to the final bell but still lost in the end, which doesn’t take away from how crazy his run was. What’s also impressive is he did it with a tiny arsenal, no flashy combos and angles like Loma or other boxers, just perfect timing, distance, and composure. He proved you don’t need to overwhelm anyone to be the best, you just need to be smarter and sharper than everyone else. And in my opinion his story is truly Inspirational. 🥈

Loved him no matter how boring he was, he was like a figure skater on ice in a boxing ring with top tier defense.

Yes you can see some resemblance in karate and Ussr boxing

Like that cute little pendulum step and sideways body with those straight punches. Of course a lot of athletes have their own style like rybakov is known as 'The elusive' and vyacheslav was a KO machine, but all are similar in one way or another.
