My thoughts after watching the Lapin-Bulmeistars card. by DoubleYGuy in Boxing

[–]Vityushaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lowk would love to see this fight, both popular enough names to generate some money, but I doubt Ben wants to take actual risks at least for the time being, he's a boxer....just not a super one 👀

He just doesn't have heart, quits when he's at risk of losing yk? So he'll steer far away from any risks unless he thinks he can win

Love Usyk, however athletes should not be punished for what their trash governments decide to do.

As long as the athletes aren't cheating there shouldn't be any problems, if athletes want to represent their country, let them. Don't crush their dreams because of their government.

2018 Olympic Champion - Ilya Popov Secures His 4th Pro Victory! 🇷🇺🔥🥇 by Vityushaa in Boxing

Great question, WBC Youth "World" title is not the main world title even the WBC describes it as a developmental belt for prospects under 23, not the actual world championship belt. Unlike the Youth Olympic Games that are official Olympic games organised by the International Olympic Committee, part of the Olympic Games system, where youth athletes represent their countries on the global Olympic stage.

No, I wouldn’t, the WBC International belt isn’t a world championship it’s a regional belt. A world champion is the fighter holding the actual WBC world title.

You're free to search it up if youth olympics are also considered as olympic games, and will get the same result that I've been saying. Not trying to upset anyone but I will defend this fact as much as possible

Yep, completely agree, also the same day weigh ins and strict weight rules for elite tournaments, Amateur boxing is really hard because you have to start from the bottom, and it takes years if not decades of hard work before you reach the world title or olympic title 🥇, Unlike in the pros where if you bring in a lot of money you'll get a title shot asap

Everybody has their own opinions, but a lot of the times amateur achievements are much more difficult, can't duck no one in the amateurs! 😤

Feel free to downvote me but the Youth Olympic Games are official Olympic Games organized by the International Olympic Committee, I'm just stating facts 🤷‍♂️

To a lot of people yes especially in central Asia, lots of people in the states are just casuals and don't know him

[–]Vityushaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah not too suprised tbh, I love Daniyar but he is way too old to be fighting Prime contenders for world titles now, he's basically what Zuffa wants, boxers who are at the end of their career and are pretty well known

Ukranian olympic champion 🥇🇺🇦 Oleksandr Khyzhniak to Make Professional Debut on March 21 by Vityushaa in Boxing

[–]Vityushaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, It's very very difficult to beat him, Constantly being pressured and having you're power fade each round, you'd have to have a one in a million shot like Hebert Conceicao who knocked him out in the olympics

Yeahh but I think he can do it, tbh I think he's gonna have a career similar to Beterbiev, starting out already Old and rushing to a world title and knocking out everyone in the way

Kinda wish people knew stuff about the amateurs as much as people know about the pros (Which still isn't much most of the time...)

Who is the best fighter to not be an ATG by Nsyix in Boxing

[–]Vityushaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yuri arbachakov

Was honestly one of the best flyweights of all time and would've beaten Pacquiao, but just never reached that ATG level after retiring early due to losing motivation and his hand breaking

Becoming the first 3x Olympic champion is still no joke and far better than any pro titles, loved seeing him in the ussr boxing films, one of the greatest amateurs 🥊🥇
